This is an interesting artwork. I love the touch of blue in the eyes.
I also like the abstract, soft shapes of the lighting, especially in contrast to the harder edges shadows of the hair.
I'm not sure, but perhaps having softer edges for the rim of the nose and the mouth could give interesting results too.
