Description In the cold and heavy rain of a darkening evening, the Chimp staggers towards the nearest tube station. Shivering, limping, coughing, and with his hood up, many passers-by with their umbrellas and suits stepped away from him as he walked by. This of course was London, and the Chimp knew this, because even though there were a few kind souls asking if he needed help, he was too stubborn to accept, on the grounds he'd be wasting their time. Nevertheless, the Chimp still had money and fare to go home as well as his other possessions, as Poisonous was not interested in them, apart from finding out Bey's location. Going through the gates and boarding a train, many commuters and staff took a glance at the lumbering and soaking wet man in the hood and mask. While sitting in his seat, the Chimp was approached by a fellow commuter and asked if he needed help. All the Chimp could say was "I just want to go home. Let me go home." He sounded weary and distraught, but he knew where to go.

Arriving at his destination in South East London, the Chimp would board a bus that would take him outside his home. Again, a few bystanders asked if he needed help, but the Chimp was never one to accept help, and this was no exception. Eventually, the Chimp arrived at the front door and had enough strength to get his keys and open the door. As he got in, he was greeted by his sister Minky, who's face went from delight to horror in a split second. "Chimp?" she asked worriedly. Out of nowhere, Robi and Goldenboy came from the sitting room to see the commotion. They had been with Minky the whole day and had just arrived at their home roughly an hour ago. They immediately asked what happened to the Chimp too. The Chimp then replied "I just need to get dried off and have a rest." With that, they got his wet jacket and hoodie off, wrapped him in towels and blankets, sat him down, and got him a cup of tea. As the Chimp sat on the sofa shivering and in pain, Goldenboy sat by the Chimp and put his arm around him, Minky started whimpering and pawed at her brother like a sad animal, and Robi stood by with her hand over her mouth, looking like she was going to cry. "When you're OK to, tell us what happened, mate..." asked Goldenboy.

The Chimp would have no choice but to lie. He would say he was beaten up by a gang in a case of mistaken identity. It was bad enough to see his old female friends brainwashed and controlled by his past self to beat him up, so mentioning the truth would not only be hard to believe, but may end up putting many more of his friends in jeopardy. With the Chimp's sister and friends, they do look out for him despite his stubborn refusal for assistance. However, this is one battle the Chimp feels he really needs to do alone.

"One battle the Chimp feels he really needs to do alone"....

Sigh...

Uh... at this point he just tried the whole " do it alone" thing and it ended up with him being beaten by his recently brainwashed lady friends who then left him the soaking mess he is now... maybe they beat the common sense out of him too....

With all the crazy stuff that I've seen in the past, from a machine that sucks the energy directly out of ticklees to robotic tentacle demented doctors... how is it possible for the Chimp to think that his friends wouldn't believe him about being beaten up by his newly brainwashed lady friends? The evidence is literally on his face... Of course he didn't beat himself up (physically at least)... It would be even more unbelievable  to say it was a"gang in a case of mistaken identity"... because if it really was, I'm sure anyone would quickly bring that up instead of keeping it to themselves... I'm sure his friends wouldn't be that oblivious to believe that lie.

and heck, who's to say his friends aren't already in jeopardy by just being close associates of the Chimp? The fact that he doesn't tell them what happened might actually put them in Jeopardy because they have no way of knowing what or who to defend themselves against. If poisonous is who he says he is, then he HAS to know about these particular close people, ESPECIALLY Chimp's little sister...

I know, I know, "don't nitpick about the story, just enjoy it", and "Chimp has trouble thinking in emergencies", you said...I get that... but jeez man, what the fark is up with the Chimp and these cockamamie decisions?! Most of what is wrong with everything is because of him! He's doing way more damage to himself than Poisonous could ever do...

*whoo*.... rant over... I'm calm now...
