Felt like I haven't drawn the gender-swapped spin-off of the Chimp in a while, so I decided to do a relatively quick pose picture of her. It looks like the Chimpette decided to be a ninja of sorts, just because she wears a mask like one. While normal ninjas are usually known for wearing tabi or wraps, the Chimpette wants to go barefoot because of not only the ease of movement and personal comfort, but the embarrassing problem of having sweaty feet when she wears anything on them.I think at some point next year I'll have a small ongoing series featuring the Chimpette as some kind of undercover ninja at night who tries (keyword: try) to investigate crimes, rescue captives and suchlike, but due to her somewhat clumsy nature and lack of ninja skills, things will go awry for her and those big, sweaty feet of hers will definitely get tickle tortured. It'll be a light-hearted spin-off from the Chimp's main adventures, which has now taken a dark turn with the appearance of Poisonous M. Also, expect those feet to suffer some comedic agony due to the Chimpette's lack of agile grace and lack of protective footwear. It'll be like something from MTJ Publishing, provided if I'll be any good at it...

I hope you like it. Note that this is kind of a 'first draft' thing, and I plan to go back and revise it when I'm less stressed (work is tough during the holidays you know.)

What an awesome design, and I love the concept of her being extremely clumsy. The fact the she's also barefoot and will likely get those big feet of hers injured quite often is just the delectable icing on top of a promising cake. I don't know why I wasn't watching you before, but I'm certainly doing so now! Great work, I'm really looking forward to this series!

Cheers. I wouldn't call her extremely clumsy, but more that she's not had any training in agility or being a proper athlete. That would eventually lead to many mistakes. She is light on her feet, but when she hurts her feet, it'll be when she's found out and trying to escape, or hurting herself leads to her getting found and captured.

Her regular enemies are likely to be campy, silly types. Never got the whole ninjas vs. pirates schtick.

I really like her design. You've done a great job on her outfit. Chimpette looks really hot, not to mention the fact that she's lacking some footwear
Looking forward to the series you have in mind for her. Will surely be a pleasure to see those feet of hers suffer and I bet it will be alot of suffering for her^^

Cheers man. I always wanted to draw a fully-dressed barefoot kunoichi at some point, and the Chimpette just seemed a great fit. Expect her to stub her toes every once in a while to highlight how much of a clod she is.
