As I get back into drawing semi-regularly, here's something I started 6 months ago. In the past 12 months, I decided to look back at a 90's show that still runs to this day - Power Rangers. The Mighty Morphin' era was iconic, and while it is kind of cheesy and corny in an endearing way with its occasional PSA messages and do-gooding storylines, the fight choreography was excellent and the use of giant mechas was awesome. Some of the combining sequences and finishers are still badass to this day!

Ironically, there was one aspect of the show that I overlooked compared to everyone else - Kimberly Hart, the original Pink Ranger who was universally crushed on by many guys around my age or younger. I personally didn't pay that much attention to her at the time as I was focused on real life girls as I just started secondary school, but looking back at the Power Rangers now, I don't know what I was thinking back then. Amy Jo Johnson is the living embodiment of "small but perfectly formed" who always catches my eye every time she's on screen. Incredibly pretty face, effortless charisma, always dressed well with some revealing outfits, great body thanks to her gymnastics training, and has a very pleasing voice; from her recognisable laugh, raspy kiais and even her grunts in combat sound almost sexual. I say out of all the original Rangers, Kimberly is the most believably flawed due to her relative shallowness and air-headed nature, but she is genuinely good-hearted and I find her to be funniest of all of them thanks to her sarcasm and one-liners. And let's not forget the time she did a flawless impression of Rita Repulsa...

It also helps she's comfortable going barefoot, and even in the Turbo movie when she was tied up, her armpits were exposed . Those areas had to be tickled by Rita's ragtag bunch of monster cronies Squatt and Baboo, while Goldar shouts at her - God, he was 90's obnoxious. I stopped and started on this one due to the detail involved drawing the villains here, so I had to do a bit of "dirty" tracing for them. Then again, some of the characters I've drawn as of late have overly elaborate and detailed costumes to warrant that.
