I have your illustrated copy. It's part of my childhood. I always liked the angles and how your style made a nice contrast to the simplicity of the story, and made it easy to picture something that wasn't the disney version which the original story is definately not.

I love this book, I just read it recently and before I read it I knew it was going to a dark book, but the shock value for half the stuff in it still caught me off, especially since it's a childrens book. I always felt a stop-motion picture of this needed to be made Nice work

I really hope this becomes a movie x3 But, it's beautiful and it has a dark side that makes it even more extraordinary.

THIS was how I was introduced to your work. Very fun looking and reminiscent of Tim Burton, if I do say so myself. It totally shows we're not in for our regular cutesy-looking Pinocchio book illustrations here. I can't wait for the film to (hopefully) come out, by the way.

No problem.
One thing I'm curious about, though: what do you think of some of the other movie adaptations of Pinocchio, like the famous Disney version or the laughably bad dub of the Robert Benigni one?

hmm? Disney=Great and horrifying for the time. Robert Benigni=Haven't seen it yet.
