Looks great!!!
A bit too gray for flamingos perhaps... And are you sure flamingos have pants?

Of course they have pants. They are decent animals, aren't they?

Naw, I actually based that on a funny passage in Khaled Hosseini's book A thousand splendid suns. A group of restless soldiers threaten to kill a man for painting a lot of flamingos, because the birds' legs are so "long and bare" and therefore the paintings are, apparently, indecent. (:

Right... I doubt that flamingos actually care if they're decent or not. I think most animals are. They have fur for warmth, not decency. If flamingos suddenly decided not to have fur on their legs, well, they must have a good reason for it, other than "We like being indecent!"
Well, now we know what those sodiers were thinking of... guess they've spent far too much time away from female company!

Yeah, well, that was... pretty much what made the whole thing so stupid. I do belive the world would be a much better place if people stopped acting out of doctrinaire "decency", and started doing things for actual reasons instead. But I guess that's just me.
You should read that book (: It was quite stirring. A bit heavy, but it had its funny parts, too. I cried like a baby at the end, of course...

Well, I've cried after reading some books... granted I was smaller and was crying because a wolf (who was the the main character) was killed in the end. "What kind of an end is that?" I thought!
And no, you're not the only one. Sure, I'd like people to wear some clothes when I'm outside, cause, let's face it, naked people are distracting (some more than others, hur hur hur), but I'm not going to go campaining about it! Or kill someone over it. Distracting or not, it's their bloody right to go around as they want.

<__< urgh... distracting naked people... -wide variety of disturbing mental images-
N'aww. Though were they tears of misery or tears of disappointment with the bad ending? ("I spent three nights on this book and THIS is how it ends?! There is no god...")

Tears of misery, I'm certain. I felt really really sad for the wolf. I was also embarrased about the fact that I couldn't stop crying about it... and it was a short story, so I spent an hour max on it.
Yes, let us never talk about naked people again (i.e. let's drop that topic. We'll return to it sooner or later...)
