Man chill out, it's a research piece. It looks good, very fantasy like (unrealistic isn't per se a bad thing). Imagine the vegetation being able to grow because of a sufficient amount of sunlight/ a good atmosphere in contrast to lower ground or something.

How do you even know how high those cliffs are? From the perspective, vegetation CAN grow there. And just because there doesn't appear to be vegetation on the lower spectrum, doesn't mean it's non existent. It's a fantasy drawing - omg he used creatures, wow kids will tell you they don't exist either!
You don't even know what's going on the designers mind creating a fantasy type painting... this is totally realistic for it being what it's geared to. A fantasy design.
