Coldpatch chanted the appropriate names at the appropriate times. When the last kit was called up in front of the dead tree, Coldpatch scanned the remaining warriors. Nightclan had so many apprentices and merely enough warriors. Crystalbriar was now open, but Hemlockstar wouldn't assign her with another apprentice immediately after she just finished training one. Of course there was still Rookshadow and Marshcreek, but they were so new to the clan, surely Hemlockstar wouldn't let either of them mentor Slykit. As Slykit earned his apprentice name, Coldpatch realized it was between her or Littlebird. Hemlockstar called Coldpatch's name as Slypaw's mentor. She froze for a heartbeat, but continued on: traditionally padding forward. Was she able to train an apprentice? She'd gotten so far without doing so. Coldpatch never wanted an apprentice, but now she had one. The dark warrior hesitantly touched wet noses with Slypaw. The clan roared calling out the three new apprentice's names rhythmically. Wanting to make this a moment for Slypaw to remember, she whispered in his ear, "I am not your mentor, but the enemy." Coldpatch locked a steady gaze with her apprentice, before melting back into the chanting clan. The small speckled tom was only yet to realize how seriously Coldpatch was going to take this and how intense their training would be.

Yay! I had so much fun writing and drawing this! Im testing out a new style. I know the style is tricky to see because of her dark coloring, but I uploaded a sketch before-hand so you could see what I was drawing:
