Princess Bubblegum had been working on a species of tiny candy people that could sneak around and gather intel if the need should arise. The problem with them is that they were way too fragile. One step from her soft bare foot and they were crushed into pieces. There is no way they would survive in a real-world scenario. Experiment after experiment, the candy people were crushed effortlessly beneath her. She was determined to continue this process until she created a durable enough person to send out into the field.
