Description
So, I don't really have much to say about this drawing. I am really struggling with keeping myself positive and motivated. I feel like I'm horrible at drawing and that I'm not improving at all. It's just one of those times where the dark voices in my head start to shout a bit louder. I'm hanging in there though and am trying my hardest to push past the negative thoughts.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this little picture I did and that you have a terrific day.

I love ballerina flats, especially with little bows! They're my favorite shoes to see on girls! ^.^
I'm sorry to hear you've been having negative thoughts. I've been there, and it's rough. Would it help if I offered objective criticism on this drawing, or would that make it worse? Either way, I love how the flats turned out!

I would say that flats are my second favorite type of footwear, with tennis shoes being my favorite.
It happens from time to time but unfortunately that doesn't make it any easier to deal with XD. I would love some criticism. I rarely get any so it's refreshing to see where I am going wrong and what I can improve on. Thanks for the lovely comment

Tennis shoes are pretty great, too, especially inside shots of them!
Alright, criticism time:
The close foot is really well done, especially the toes and toenails. However, the skin just to the right of the pinky toe looks like it extends out a little too much, making it look like a bunion or similar. (Of course, if that's what you were going for, then spot on!)
The back foot also looks really nice -- the shoe is shaped very nicely. The top of the foot could use a little more shape, though; as it stands right now, it looks a little triangular. A subtle, curved dip near the toe end just before the top of the shoe begins would probably do the trick.
The flat in the front looks amazing! Excellent detail here! The one and only thing I would change is the curvature where it's bending under the foot's pressure. It bows out in too small of an area. Shoes are made of pretty sturdy material, so when a foot is entering the shoe, the walls of the flats would bend in a much wider, shallower arc. It's a little hard to explain, but imagine you have a strip of thin cardboard held up over a gap. When you apply pressure to one spot -- especially near the center -- the entire thing will bow, not just the one spot.
Finally, we come to the tiny. This one is a little trickier since he appears to be quite stylized, and I don't want to step on your toes there. All I'll say is that he looks like a tiny crash test dummy come to life, and that's not a bad thing. In fact, you could probably run with that in some way; just imagine the possibilities a giantess could have in crash tests.
If, however, you're going for realism, his arms and legs look really good. His feet are a good shape, but obviously lack details like toes -- something that's perfectly fine to leave out on tinies, especially if they're really small in the picture. The head will very much depend on your style and there's so many things that can go right or wrong with the face alone, so you'll have to learn to trust your gut on that. Generally speaking, if something looks wrong but you can't place your finger on how, just take a break from that part by either drawing something else or just walking around (you'd be surprised how much a change of scenery can clear the mind). When you come back to it, it'll pop out much more.
All in all, I think this is a really well done picture with a very nice perspective! Just remember: you are your own worst critic. You know the ins and outs of this image better than the rest of us because you created every line here. As long as you can skim your drawing and see nothing wrong (general shapes, anatomy, and perspective are the big ones), then you're golden. ^_^

Oh my, I didn’t think your were going to drive this deep into it! But J have to say, I really appreciate all that you had to say. There is some really valuable stuff here for me to dig into to. And I can confirm that I am indeed my own worst critic XD. Again I really appreciate the time you put into looking over my silly little drawing. No lie, your feedback has made my day. Thank you so much

Anytime! I'm always happy to help! ^_^ I enjoy writing critiques -- the better I can explain something, the better I can understand it, myself.

That makes a lot of sense. They say the best way to learn is to teach. Well I hope you have a wonderful day. Oh and your new contest theme is coming up soon, right? I’m really looking forward to that
