Yes, I see Rembrandt hiding in there...

"Aristotle" hangs in the Metropolitan Museum in New York. The Chain that hangs around his neck is so thick you could use it to pick the painting up with.

Your image is very strong and evocative. I like the concept, using old masters as a design template of sorts, then proceeding from there.

ahah...clever eyes...I heard he impastoed paint like sculpting...i saw his pieces ten years ago, but a repro only...he was and has continues to be an inspiration to me...i really love his use of light...thanks paul
