Description
Countless hours spent working. More, than 200 pieces, from tiny to huge.. and it’s finally done.Building the carriage from scratch was a lot more difficult than I’ve expected first.
There were problems with the painting too, because for my first try my reference picture was a fan-art, but it soon became clear that the canon colors are totally different.
(I’ve found the carriage in an official MLP game, so I tried my best to fit my work to that one).
The 2 guardians can be detached from the carriage, so they can be exposed separately with Luna, if somebody likes it better.
If you like my sculptures, like me on Facebook , where you can find pictures and more.
More detailed pictures of the Guardians can be found HERE

Did you use wood or clay to make the carriage?

No, I use epoxy putty, plexi sheet and...emm...DVD cases.

Amazing (is jelly).
Though the guards look way too big (might just be perspective).

I'd love to buy it!
If that were commissioned privately, I'd have charged at least £1500...

Well if I'd count it based on the invested hours, it'd be there somewhere indeed.

This is beyond amazing. To begin with, Luna looks lovely and sweet as ever, very well detailed and very fluid in her comfortably elegant pose. The guards are fantastic too, with every little detail accounted for (thanks to your other views of them). The look steadfast and serious but not at all mean. Pretty good representatives of the undervalued night.
The chariot is spectacular: it actually looks comfortable enough for me to get inside of and enjoy a trip. The design looks great and the painting is really good. Heck, how long did it take to assemble and finish those lanterns and the spire in back? It's quite a sweet ride.

Thank you for your appreciating words. I'm glad you like it! No, it wasn't hard to make the lanterns. They are made of 12 parts though. But I'd say the real challenge was making the wheels, and then stabilizing them.

This piece came out wonderfully! The colouring is very nice and it doesn't look as if there are any noticeable overlaps in the colours! Again, this is wonderfully crafted and it was great getting to see the WIP shots along the way!
I look forward to seeing more of your work!
Oh, and if you don't mind answering, approximately how long did it take to complete these? I'd guess a few months at least!

Thank you. I'm glad you like it. I paint with an Airbrush, it makes the whole painting process a lot easier. To be honest, I did not count the invested hours, but it was above 150 for sure.

Of course, and you're welcome! Ah, I can image it makes it easier, but the small details are amazing aswell.
Yeah, I could imagine it'd take longer that amount of time, or longer!
Well, I look forward to your future works!
