Whether you intended it or not, this immediately reads as Deathwing to me. Not necessarily a good thing or a bad thing, since I think it's far enough removed for Blizzard to not care.

No, but having a molten dragon AND a heavily armored molten dude with a giant weapon matches up very closely to some promotional and conceptual art pieces of Deathwing in both his dragon and human forms. If it was just one or the other it might not have even come to mind.
