In february I've made some drawings (as usual ) – here is one of them:

Now (like you could read in the title) , the basic design is actually not mine. it was made by German Deviant Edesr .

Well, how did it come to that? One day, edesr watched me, and as i like to know who's the new guy that watches me, i usually wander through his gallery to see what he got. While edesr is a brilliant artist for reproducing existing cars, this Strato Concept somehow struck my mind and it made me wanting to recreate it myself!
The rims were inspired by some I found on another concept my edesr.

Well, i adapted it a bit concerning the design and put my own style into it.

When working with biros, I usually do the lines into one direction (bottom left - top right). The idea to use crossed lines to create surfaces came up when i saw sunnymn's work.
It's actually not that easy to do that when you're used to do the other! but it's actually quite an interesting way to do it, during the process and also for the result! I'm not sure if later on I'll be doing it all the time, but I already caught myself redoing such crossed lines!

I'm not really a great artist when it comes to drawing women, especially when they should be beautiful and have more or less the right proportions!!! So i needed some help – i looked at J. Scott Campbell's work ('cause he got the skills, man! – if you haven't seen his work, check it out now!) Well, it still wasn't that easy, while the complete car is only biro, i had to sketch and resketch and resketch the girl with a pencil and then erase it again and again, to make her look approximately correct, also in relation to the car. I'm actually still not sure if she's more or less correct, but I don't care! ! ah, and she's holding the mirror that is on this side. and the other one's around her trousers/pants.

So. This should be about it.
