Chun-Li has fallen into Bison's hands, and obviously he plays rough. Plus the cave is cold and dank. And he's got "The Macarena" playing in the background.I wanted to do a strenuous pose as a way to show off Chun-Li's very muscular frame. And to try to approximate it, I kept Serena Williams in mind as I was drawing her, because Serena Williams is the closest real person I could think of who approximates Chun-Li's peculiar blend of husky femininity.

A true work of art. Chun Li is my favorite character. I hope some of her fellow Street Fighters will save her, and help her destroy M. Bison once and for all, to save the world and avenge her father's death.

Kind of ironic to try and show off her strength while she's bound and helpless. She's supposed to be the strongest women in the world, you'd think she'd look more like a female body-builder with such a title.
I think you did a good job. Even with the angle and her position, you can still see the definition and power of her leg muscles and her arms too.

love how you did the muscles and stuff.... Chun's legs are the best part about her and many artists omit her muscles to make her look more 'feminine' or whatever, but she she looks beautiful here...

I don't think Serena Williams is a good comparison though. Considering how flexible Chun Li is, she should have a refined muscularity, certainly not husky as she is portrayed in SF4. All characters are exaggerated in SF4 though.
I think her MVC3 version is her best in-game model. But the funny thing is, I think your drawing looks more MVC3 than SF4. Which is a good thing, IMO.

Well, I just grabbed a few pictures off of the net to use as models. They may have been from Street Fighter 4. Not being a gamer, I wouldn't know the difference.

This pic immediately reminded me of the scene from the SF Movie starring JCVD when Bison said "For you, the day you met Bison was the most important day of your life. For me, it was Tuesday." I love that movie so much.

Being bent back like that is no picnic. The spine isn't meant to bend that way, not to mention the strain on the shoulders and hamstrings, which are basically supporting the majority of her weight. The French Foreign Legion used a variation of this as punishment for deserters.
