Description
Gogol500 made a request for the 90s Catwoman and Airboy's Valkyrie in a little distress. If you're unfamiliar with this Valkyrie or with Airboy, look them up. You've missed something good.As for our scene, our two heroines have been captured by the Gestapo's latest super-agent, Brunhilde (my own creation), and like a good little Nazi, she's stopping for a photo-op with the newsreel cameras before the scheduled execution. After all, the folks at home need something to take their minds off of the Russian Front. After filming, the two captives are to be shot - - unless Brunhilde decides she wants to have a little 'fun' with them.
What's the 90s Catwoman doing in Germany in World War II? Don't bother me with details.

If I'd have in my power such a lovely couple of beautiful girls, the last thing I would think about is an execution.

What can I say? The Nazis were evil.

Is Brunhilde an actual character that was in comic books, or is she an OC of someone? I'm just curious, thats all.

No, Major Ilsa wouldn't last five minutes with Mandy.

Maybe she's her ancestor then. There's a certain family resemblance in this wicked bloodline. Or it could be your distinctive drawing style.

Probaby my wildly inconsistent drawing style. Mandy only associates with the winning side.

Yummy, any excuse to draw Catwoman bound and gagged is a good one!

They'll probably Quantum Leap back just in time.
PS The poles are making shadows on the wall, but not the ladies. Why am I looking at shadows?

GrouchoM In reply to cordefr [2009-04-18 01:14:02 +0000 UTC]
Well, I could say that the refraction of light from multiple light sources, due to twin kleg lights used by the newsreel camera, caused an artificial thinning of the shadows so that they only looked as thin as the poles.
But that would be a cop-out.

When I saw Valkyrie I had a suspicion it was a request by Gogol500. Looks like I was right.

Valkyrie was "reanimated" in the 80's, so it's feasibly possible they'd meet up... though probably not in the 40's, unless a time machine was involved. Which, in comics books, could also happen...
Looks awesome!

Hmm, Airboy... nope, doesn't ring a bell to me. Guess I better broaden my comic-knowledge.
Still, I see Catwoman. Good enough for me.

Someone really needs to re-print those Airboy comics I've heard so much about.
Unfortunately, that's not gonna happen..

Either one. The Eclipse series was very well done. And the 40s stories were very literate and well drawn for the era - - the few I've seen, that is.
