Well here it is, the end result of the SEGA ALL STARS Project I started awhile ago. Thanks to Uni projects, I just had no free time to work on this image, but excuses aside here it is in all of its glory.
Before I name the characters, I would like to note that my character choices could have been better. originally I was going to have 2 characters for each series but that idea went out the window as I started to add more and more characters to the list. In the end it just turned into trying to make sure each series had at least one rep.
I know I missed some important ones like Legend of Oasis Dragon Force and of course the original Shinobi, so bring on the rage comments.

You know, after seeing this wonderful art. I kinda wish SEGA would make more games about their other mascots rather than another Sonic game.

So many characters, so little time... This is why Sega has fallen behind Nintendo all these years, it doesn't recognize the potential in it's IP and games like Nintendo did. How many Nintendo heroes and heroines can you name that have been around since the eighties? Sega's case apart from Sonic is like a bowel movement. You make one game, you forget about it and move on to the next one. Which is genuinely sad, because the games they have left behind are MAGNIFICENT. It's like they strapped Sonic to the Golden Throne from Warhammer and have used him as a financial crutch ever since. True, the Puyo Puyo series is going strong only in Japan, but those puzzle games are LUCKY to give Sega the profits it deserves.

I seriously wonder how nintendo managed to pull off what it did. multiple frsanchizes that blew up to become iconic charecters. most companies have a couple or a few. nintendo has, like, 50.

I think what dissapoints me the most about is the fact that they have made so many great games that are not Sonic, and yet they never seem to take advantage of that.

Wow, that's a lot of characters. Too bad they're all dead now. And even through Sonic is still showing up in new games today, many people consider the blue hedgehog dead due to his bad videogames and the fact that he's no longer in 2D games anymore.
SEGA is DEAD. The company died years ago with the end of the Dreamcast in 2001. What's left today is nothing but an empty shell of the once awesome SEGA.
