Well, at least Metal Sonic gets to return....the other fake Sonics that Eggman created never lasted more than a game....the Silver Sonic from Sonic 2 on the GameGear (who wasn't anything close to the best, but was trusted with a Chaos Emerald), and the improved version, Mecha Sonic, from Sonic 2 on the Genesis.
