I'm sick of seeing great artists get bashed all the time by trolls, haters, and other people I don't even have names for.If you don't like an artist's 'style' or piece of work, please take the artist's feelings into consideration. How would you feel if someone wrote a nasty comment to you?
"Your art sucks."
"It's so cute it's ugly."
"Wow. Soooo original. Not."
Give helpful criticism, not ignorant comments.
It's called RESPECT. Respect others, and they'll respect you.
And trolling isn't 'fun.' It's just plain cruel. You might get a kick out of being a troll at first, but really, you're not helping society.
Just grow up.

I completely agree. :/ This stamp was made for someone I admire who gets bashed a lot, so that's what the 'talented' was for, but truly, every artist is talented in their own way. ^^

Aww don't say that! Your artwork isn't bad, and just keep working on it, and you'll improve even more! Although I was referring to personal best for artists who aren't so confident in their works.

I see this way too often, and I totally agree with you.
Most of the time, it's all complaints about how someone else's art is much more popular than their own. It isn't the artist's fault that their work is popular any more than it is your fault that yours isn't. It's unfair to take out your frustration on them.

I can see where you're going on internet comments and such. I don't know about getting even, but mostly I ignore pointless, bad remarks.
However...when it comes to one's art and nasty comments...it's really hard to ignore. My art is a big deal to me. While I'm moderately comfortable and always prepared to receive criticism, it doesn't make it hurt less, when you do get those nasty comments.
It's not always bad hiding a comment, though, I agree. Sometimes that's just the best option.

By the way, getting even is immature, and so is hiding the comment, since that proves you can't handle anyone's opinions. So, you're suggesting to grow up by saying to be immature? Hm. That makes sense.
