Actually, it really wasn't all his fault. His original script was much closer to the actual series in tone and execution, it was because of executive meddling. Granted he still had a hand in it, but it wasn't completely his fault.

i agree. the movie was bad, but more cause he casted the wrong actors. plus i enjoyed tmnt 2014 even bay directed it.

No, he produced TMNT 2014 as well as Out of the Shadows. TMNT 2014 was directed by Johnathon Liebesman while OOTS was directed by Dave Green.

The dumb thing was, he actually watched the series with his kids...AND HE STILL F***ED IT UP!!!
Him and Michael Bay are pretty much on my shit list for this very reason: not sticking to the source material!
