The sheer size and fearsome appearance attributed to the beasts have made them common ocean-dwelling monsters in various fictional works. The legend may actually have originated from sightings of real giant squid that are variously estimated to grow from 40 to 50 feet in length, including the tentacles. These creatures normally live at great depths, but have been sighted at the surface and reportedly have "attacked" ships.

Info: Relatively obscure despite his outward and obvious zanyness, Machado is, quite the interesting sort. Much like a kraken, only a few people really know Macho, and those few people know him in a big, BIG way. Macho is loud, and crazy, and FIERCE and ferocious and ALL OUT THERE.

And damn, if he isn't fun at parties.

Macho is excellent at meeting people, if not a little too forward. He's known for crushing hugs and loud greetings. Because of this, he's very easy to approach (or harder, ohohoho), and even easier to make your friend. However, Macho is also very perceptive, and thus, good at reading people, so you come at him with bitchass-ness, and he'll ream your ass BACK. It's kind of odd, since you expect him to be wonderfully naive. Nope, Macho can curse you out, up and down, left, right and sideways, and still make YOU look like the jackass.

Team Fierce is his name for the ever-growing list of people Macho considers good, possible even BEST friends. In fact, the list grows constantly, so much so that Macho himself has a hard time keeping track of everyone on it. What he does know, is that the first three members on the list are Melina, her cousin Corbin, and X. Everyone in Team Fierce considers Macho an excellent friend, despite getting annoyed by him to varying degrees.

In fact, the only people that Macho DOESN'T seem to like on some level are Theo, the Minotaur, Salomé the Dancer and his own older sister, Shiela-Ursula. He has a severe dislike for Theo, because Theo is a big, loud, annoying, concieted, asshole jock, and who likes those guys? Salomé, Macho discovered through Jean, and she immediately earned his distaste by being a conniving, underhanded, overall stupid bitch. But even moreso than Theo or Salomé, Macho HATES being around Shiela-Ursula. Sheila-Ursula is CONSTANTLY giving Macho and Simmon backhanded compliments and condemns them for their choices in almost everything. She's the only person Macho has an inferiority complex with, and would much rather stay away from her than let her tell him he's useless.

Aside from his sister (who he still loves, despite their tumultuous relationship,) Machado has a decent relationship with the rest of his family. His younger brother, Simmon, tends to avoid him at all costs, mostly because Machado has a habit of being extremely loud around him, not to mention always trying to pull his goggles an hat off. Machado is CONVINCED that Simmon has, what he calls, "bishie potential" if he were to try a little harder. macho is ALSO convinced that his divorced parents, Mira and Mikala, are going to get back together any day now. They're too close to stay apart for much longer. Sheila-Ursula thinks this is just the delusion of a crazy and immature squidman.

Machados' girlfriend is Jean the Genie, and it was a hard road getting to that point. Macho first met Jean on a venture into the Dance room to check up on Anwar and X. Macho was captivated by her entrancing and elegant dance moves, not to mention her smokin' hot body. But Macho, despite being something of a social butterfly, was too forward in his approach and offput Jean for quite a while. It wasn't until he almost hit her with his car that she finally decided to let him in.

Yeah you read that right.

A member of the WWHS Orchestra, Macho can play the violin, viola and cello excellently. He's far from the best in the group, but his ability to change seats makes him something of an asset when members of a certain group fail to show up or are unable to perform.
