Excellent shot! I think, however, that I might have cropped off the dirt road off the bottom - this would also have lowered the horizon to more of a lower third i.e. the golden ratio. Just a thought...

I thought about making it without the dirt as weell but decided against it because it was very important for me to have the gree stripe of grass in it. Thanks a lot for the comment and the

I agree strongly about keeping the grass but you shoud be able to crop out the dirt and keep most of the grass. I feel it would make it a stronger image - but I could be wrong.

I love how gorgeous and still the field feels, and how omnious the sky above is.

Yeah this is pretty cool. The horizon line right in the middle isn't always the way to go but in this particular case, I seems perfect. There are so many different things to see here. I like how you did the colors too.

Great shot! The picture almost looks three-dimensional, especially the sky. And the colours are really really nice.

Never been in Halberstadt or even near the town. according to your photos there seems to be a lot of nature next to the two houses the village consists of.
