That's really neat. I'm thinking of making a (probably wooden) one.

How usefull to turbosmooth the model ? It is a cube...
Sorry but it's totally useless...

In real world there are NO sharp edges. If you model correctly and add TS - your edges will catch highlights.
It's called "realism", not "useless".
And also takes skill to add correct loops.

I made a second cube and I chamfrainer edges for they seem softer, but once again it is useless to make it "turbosmoothable", I just need to chamfer a few edges, I save polygons.
The basis of 3D is to do "good" with less polygons as possible.

see, the way you created yours is that it has wear and tear around it's edges, right?
And the effect is ruined by sharp corners...
Ever heard of a term "High-poly modeling"?
Don't mix things up...

I know that sharp corner ruined the dirt effect, that is why I do a second cube with chamfer edges.
And yes i heard of a term "High-poly modeling", but why high poly on companion cube ? Why edges on useless on plane surfaces with a turbosmooth ?
My method is better optimised to do this.

Thank you very much ! ^^
Selling them ? I don't understand, selling the 3D model ? The print ? Or something else ?

like, you make multiples and then you ship them to other people for money.

I can't, it's not a real cube, i do that with a 3D software. ^^
