Decided today was going to be a character design day. And seeing as Halloween is quickly approaching I give you, Lizzy. The Reaper.
here's her story. As a young woman, in 1930, she was madly in love with another young man. Finally he asked her to marry him and she accepted. unfortunately, soon after, the man fell terribly ill and died. while Elizabeth mourned her fiancé one night in the graveyard she was visited by a tall cloaked man. The man introduced himself as the grim reaper and offered Elizabeth the power to bring her fiancé back to life, if she would take his job of collecting the souls of the dead and guiding them to the afterlife. Unable to resist such an offer, she accepted and reaper swung his scythe into her chest, transferring his powers to her, while he collapsed into a pile of bones and dust. For years Elizabeth toiled, guiding souls to the afterlife, while taking a little pieces of each of their energy to use to return her Fiancé to this world. but when she finally gathered enough energy to return him to life, he could not see her, for she no longer existed in the world of the living or the dead. years passed. Elizabeth watched as the man died, again, this time of old age, leaving behind grandchildren who were not hers. finally she returned to her work, resigned to her fate. some time later though, in our time she became powerful enough to reveal herself to the living...

anyways, she exists in varying levels of decay, depending on how many souls she has recently saved. so sometime's she's rather sexy, and other times *shiver*

paining in photoshop looks great, but don't get used to it yet, i still need a tablet.

also I do apologize if you guys are getting annoyed that I seem to be becoming one of those TG artists who only post TG about half the time. but you know what? you're gonna have to suck it up. and if you really want you can go and create a new deviantart account called "Not-So-Grumpy-TG" and re-post only my TG work.
