Lady Martian is inspired by the DC Comic hero, Martian Manhunter and Deja Thoris from the John Carter movie and A Princess of Mars novels.Lady Martian is my new alien character who is a space bounty hunter, but calls earth home, as well. Along with flight and super strength(70+ tons), LM has telepathic and telekinectic powers, and her technical devices. The node on her left arm allows her to change her appearance or mutate her physical form to walk through walls, turn invisble or be able to strecth her arms. While the node on her right arm allows her communication with her ship and to be able to commnicate with electronics and devices. Dosen't have those extra abilities without the devices.
LM also has a weakness to fire and heat decreasing her strength to a normal humans levels and it takes away her mental abilities tempararily.

She has good potential as a heroine. for some reason, I'm a sucker for shape shifters, I mean they're arguably some of the most versatile and adaptable people around.

Left arm band allows her control over her molecular form allowing her to stretch and morph, become intangible, invisibility, change her appearance, or increasing/decreasing her density to name a few of the things she can do.

Some of them. Eventhough she has her natural Martian abilities of flight, superstrength, minimal telepathy, and telekinesis, her arm band tech in conjunction with her bred-born abilities gives her greater means of combat and stealth.

Of course, there are aliens who can change their appearance naturally, like the skrulls. even aliens are not created equal.
