So, here we are, batch number 4.The second most important batch to me aside from Batch 3 (and the one character from Batch 2 named Elisa), mainly due to the characters seen above. For those who have stuck around with me since the beginning of my DeviantArt journey, you may know a lot of the faces you see here. For those who haven't watched me for long, let me give you some context. Almost all the characters seen above are of the first characters I've ever created (along side a few in Batch 3 and one in Batch 2). Started as being Sonic styled characters who were nothing but edits on Windows XP's MS Paint and eventually becoming something of their own, morphing in designs and looks along side my art style. With some of them going through numerous upon numerous name changes and even a crappy (at least to me now) story line which was overly convoluted and had no direct ending. My have times have changed.

Since my goal from the start of this whole Redraw 'n' Update thing was to redesign, update, and finalize these characters, I made it as a design standpoint that the characters would at least be a fusion of their past and more recent designs as much as possible. As to me, it's important to reference their origins.

Gear/Abilities:

Rings of the Slain - Rings that are locked on his wrists. These rings were specially made for him to conceal his true erean form and the powers that come with it. Although not 100% effective, as minute traces of his true form can be seen when in combat alongside his eyes. The rings were originally a decorative piece in his earlier life when his father was still alive, however they were destroyed in combat when he tried stopping his unruly and power hungry father. Thus a new pair of them was remade with cavernosphere metals and the ashes of the people he has slain in his earlier life as a reminder of his past. The true erean form that's hidden away by these rings is said to be something that at one point in Planet Angelusse' s history, would have destroyed cities or continents if he never turned against his father and use his skills for good. They also double as melee weapons in combat via as " wrist hammers " able to crush a person's skull with ease. These rings, despite their appearance and the ease of movement Sleyne has with them on, are extremely heavy. They're heavy to the point that when unlocked from Sleyne's wrists, they leave an indent and a crack or two on the floor they land on.

Brief Bio: Once part of an ancient race of ereans who ruled the cavernosphere region of planet Angelusse, Sleyne was the son of a warlord whose one goal was to rule everything on the planet with an iron fist. Under his dad's leadership, he was known to be quite a "demon" of sorts, as he ripped and teared adversaries he faced in the wars his father went into with other clans. Leading him to be nicknamed as "Demonic Saber" at how scarily fast he would be slicing through armies upon armies of people with ease. Although his dad had conquered the whole of the cavernoshphere, he wanted more. Seeking out the groundosphere as his next target for his bloodlust rampage. Sleyne saw this as unnecessary, as to him taking over the above world would be overdoing it. This comment sparked a conflict with the two of them, where Sleyne defeated his dad and his army in a blood bath later on after his father killed a village leader making peace with his dad on the groundosphere. From then on he swore to not follow the path his dad took and take the route of a wandering bounty hunter, to correct the evils he committed thanks to his dad. For years he had met many faces through his vigilante jobs and for years he had met and lost so many friends through his life, though Sleyne wasn't going to be a wandering helper of sorts any longer now. Come 2013 he met SnowFlake in a request job given to him by a client. SnowFlake offered Sleyne a place in the Black Spitfires, after seeing him in action and seeing where he comes from in terms of history. Sleyne accepted it (accompanied by Reyge and Bleyde) and from then on has become one of the most well known members from the team.

Gear/Abilities:

Tails of Fury - A sword forged by a blacksmith for her when she was young as a token of happiness and as a last hurrah to himself. The sword is made of materials only found on the inner caves of the floating land mass, the Uplift Islands. Shaped like a fox tail and finished in a gun metal gray color, it's light and is tailored to the fighting style of Bleyde. There's a small visible indent near the handle of the sword where molten materials can be poured in later to further strengthen and improve the sword. As the materials will permeate through the blade and fuse with the initial material it was made of. The specific name of the said materials this sword was made of was never identified as the swordsmith had died 2 years after Bleyde was given to the sword by them at the age of 15.

Brief Bio: Often labeled as a stalker, even though she clarifies she isn't one, she's a following shadow that has been following Sleyne and Reyge ever since she first saw them in her hometown in Windy Cliff Pass in 2013. Originally a shy person, she always was a misfit since she was young as she never really found a group to fit in with. Having her be left behind by the groups of people she tried to mingle with. When she saw Sleyne for the first time, she was in awe at him as he gave off the aura of a badass. Come years later when he revisited the area, now with Reyge accompanying him, she watched from a far at what the two would do and would occasionally follow them around even when they were doing a client job. It just so happened that one day they were being stalked by a person bound to kill them, as revenge for the death for one of their targeted people. She snuck up upon the guy and killed him off before Sleyne and Reyge took notice. They both heard the thud of a body behind them and saw Bleyde, and were immediately on edge at what was going on. When they figured out what just happened they thanked her. She asked if she could join them and Sleyne just said "Do what you want.". She joined them and just like that became a close trio of friends ever since. When Sleyne was taken in by SnowFlake in the same year, she followed suit along with Reyge. And then Christy and Christal who became part of their batch later on. She has an unusual knack of teasing the two twins which often ends up in her getting into trouble. Aside from this, she has become close with most of the people in the Black Spitfires due to her laid-back attitude towards things and her undying love of video games.

Gear/Abilities:

Mecha Mag Arm Version 4.0 - An arm he had as a youngster. It was originally a replacement arm since he lost his left arm in an accident when he was 12, it's been constantly upgraded over the years to improve it's performance and longevity. Eventually he had to add offensive upgrades to it along with a plethora of other options to help him in combat situations due to a disagreement in his younger life. This current version labeled "Mag 4.0" is an upgraded version of his arm modified and tweaked by Christy. This version uses Titaniumond Fiber Nano Tech, an extremely light and tough experimental material which can last a lifetime without it ever corroding or wearing down over time and as an added bonus no oil is needed. The material is also able to morph into different tools/weapons through Reyge's thoughts. Examples of this would be the 98SW Cannon, which fires devastating single shot plasma rounds, and the Trihook which he can use to grapple on to hard to reach places or high-speed objects.

Brief Bio: Born in Lavalanche Plateau, Reyge was an ore miner who craved adventure. As a youngster he was normally seen exploring the mines with his father and would go look in the deep crevices of the mines in this dried up lava mountainous area. This however ended up in him losing his left arm at the age of 12, where an unstable patch of rock in the caves collapsed on him (breaking his arm in the process) and his father. His dad ultimately never made it out alive but Reyge did due to the quick thinking of his dad. Reyge was hospitalized after and he was given a mechanical arm to replace the arm he lost. He stayed strong after that event but he ultimately caved in. After being bullied by the other kids because of his arm and how, in their eyes, it was his fault that his father died, he got into a fight with them which ended up in a couple of them getting hospitalized when the bullies didn't realize how capable he was in fighting. Especially with his mechanical arm. He ran away afterwards and ended up being a lone traveler taking up freelance vigilante jobs to earn a living and upgrade his arm while at it. He eventually met up with Sleyne through a job where they both teamed up to guard some special cargo. After the job they hanged out for a bit and something clicked between the both of them, Reyge has now found a group of people (Black Spitfires) he know he could trust in and in return helps them out in need. As well as finding love in the form of Elisa. Though there are times where he would get a little triggered due to people making puns out of his name.

Gear/Abilities:

Frostbitten Wind - The name of the ice powers she was born with. The powers themselves originate from the Erean blood that flows in their family (Vultics Canidras) and are only inherited by a handful of people in her family. It grants the user to freeze the air around them and is able to produce continous streams of incredibly dense blue ice. The ice produced by this power is said to last for a long while even in hot climates, and is only removed by the user who casts it. Unlike the gadget Christy developed, which can fire projectiles of ice, this power allows the user to summon spires of ice from the ground with ease along with ice "tentacles" that home on their targets. And like Jeyde, she can materialize weapons/objects from the ice and use it when in or out of combat. Examples of this is a lance, a cage, and a great hammer.

Brief Bio: Originating from Frozen Dream Peaks, she's the oldest of the Frostbite twins and was the daughter of a wealthy family. She was the twin that most people would take to due to her appearance and the fact she was born with ice powers, often times the center of attention in most social gatherings and in the school they attended in. This was usually the case ever since they were young and started uttering out words. She's usually seen with a group of people admiring and crushing on her due to the charm she had with people. Though this charm she had would eventually be trumped over by her twin's smarts and creativity and would spark constant comparisons between them. This would eventually cause them to bicker at each other, which at one point ended up in them getting exiled from their family after she and her sister destroyed a party their parents hosted. She and her sister were eventually rescued by Sev, Cookie and Jayde after driving back from a motorsport event they attended near by and were taken back to the base where they both stayed and never left, mainly because of Sleyne and Reyge. Having been a fan of them after reading blogs of them online about who they were. Truth be told, she felt really down about herself in her first few days in the team since she didn't feel unique within this group of people. But she quickly shrugged this feeling off and started mingling with the people and ended up befriending everyone in the team. She feels closest to Rina, who like her, is also a twin. And finds Bleyde the more annoying one out of the bunch due to her constant teasing of her girliness.

Gear/Abilities:

HB Starlight Custom - A modified hoverboard with custom parts fabricated by Christy herself which she nicknames "Starlight". Unlike most of the off the shelf brands of hoverboard, hers is finely tuned to fit her style of riding so that it's stable and can be used in unison with her partial ice abilities. It comes with a custom paint job, an engine retuned so that it produces less heat and more thrust(so that the any ice path she produces out of her FrostBite Glove doesn't melt beneath her as she rides it) , sturdier experimental Carbon Exo Diofiber frame able to withstand most abuse and crashes at over 200MPH and for when she needs to bash some peoples faces in with the board and a white LED package for the exterior of the board when at night.

FrostBite Glove - A glove she developed when she was young to amplify her partial ice powers. She wears it on her right hand and it's normally used to generate an ice path for herself and others when going through areas that can't be easily accessed or if she needs to create a faster route for herself. It's also able to fire ice spheres, ice darts and ice wind up to a range similar to that of a sniper rifle. The ice spheres fired by the glove are in the size of a softball and can leave a deep dent onto metal. The ice darts can pierce metals and flesh with ease and have an added bonus of exploding outwards once they pierce. The ice wind produces an instant thick sheet of ice depending on where it's aimed at. It can be used to generate not only roads or platforms but also walls to shield herself.

Brief Bio: Originating from Frozen Dream Peaks, she's the youngest of the Frostbite twins and was the daughter of a wealthy family. She was born with partial ice powers and a knack of tinkering and making gadgets. This was made apparent when she developed the Frostbite glove, when she was 10, and her modified board, when she was 15. She always was a second placer to her sister, as she would often be ignored by other kids when they were young. Though when people found out how intelligent she was compared to her sister, their outlook on her changed. This would often times end up with people comparing them both to each other and it would get them to bicker at one another. The bickering would get so bad that eventually their parents were forced to exile them from their mansion and disown them after an incident had happened in a party their parents hosted. She and her sister were eventually found by Sev, Cookie and Jayde passed out in the snow as they were driving back from a motorsport event near by. She woke up finding out she was inside a car with them and slightly panicked but soon calmed down after findng out they were saved by them. They drove back to the base and she and her sister stayed there until they could find a new place to stay in but they never left. They were accepted in by SnowFlake and they were both assigned to Sleyne's batch, in which her twin went ecstatic over because of Sleyne and Reyge. She's now second in command of the tech department, who manages and upgrades the systems in the Black Spitfires along with helping Nole out making updated versions of old obsolete tech for their own use. And yes, she and her sister has since apologized to each other but the bickering still happens every now and then.

Gear/Abilities:

AG-nesis - An ability known to the Hedgevers class of Needebacks. Essentially a form of telekinesis, it allows the users to manipulate and throw objects, people and things around them with the force of their mind, float and fly in the air or even electrocute everyone around them by slamming the floor. When a Hedgevers uses this ability, a red aura appears around the user and their eyes begin to glow red. This ability can vary in potency, ranging from very weak (only able to lift small objects like pencils, paper clips or coins) to extreme (able to lift massive structures like quarry dump truck or a 5 floor building) with accompanying degrees of length as to how long they can use it. This ability is commonly used by this class of Needlebacks as a means of transport in their native high above ground homes, a means transporting goods around or in building homes and structures in their area. For Siggie's case, she's in the more extreme case of things where she's able to move and carry massive objects with ease. However, prolong use of her abilities will tire her out requiring her to intake (according to her) a lot of sweet things to regain her energy back.

Brief Bio: A wanderer of sorts who once lived on the Uplift Islands. She used to be in a relationship with a girl who lived in an area near Forest of the Giants on Uplift Islands. Used to, because overtime this girl would turn more and more deranged, so much so that she referred to her as a "Caveman Viscacha". She eventually ran away grabbing her more important belongings with her and just wandered around hoping to find a place to fit in. She'd help out random people wherever she went which in turn they'd give her food and a place to stay for the night. One day when she was about to leave from a place she slept for the night, she heard noises of a high speed car chase going at a nearby highway and went to investigate. As she arrived at her vantage point, she saw a sleek sports car driving at high-speeds trying to outrun the police chasing it. Quickly going into action, she used her powers to quickly beam herself over the highway and land just far enough ahead of the perpetrator. After which she proceeded to use her abilities on the car and raised it into the air, stopping the vehicle immediately. The police arrived shortly after and she placed the car back down gently, with the driver frantically stumbling out of the car out of fear. She was thanked by the police and she proceeded on her wandering journey. Just as when she was about to leave the city she was currently in, she was approached by Sleyne, Sev, Cookie and Christy. After some praise on her showmanship of skills back there, she was offered a spot in Black Spitfires, with them explaining further as to who they are and what they do. She at first felt like it was a joke but she changed her mind after when she realized how dead serious they were. She gladly accepted it and, after some confirmation with SnowFlake, was grouped into Sleyne's batch.

Gear/Abilities:

Cyberline Body Beta ver 2.0- The beta version of the Cyberline bodies. This beta version of the body looks more robotic in nature having a massive CRT like monitor for the head to house the brain inside as well as the rather bare-bones looking body parts. However despite the appearance, it functions the same as any of the finalized bodies used for the masses. This version 2.0 of the body was strengthen and upgraded with Carbonium, with its appearance replicating a cartoon character Tech drew when he was a kid thanks to the help of SnowFlake.

Brief Bio: The pioneer behind the Cyberline Surgery and the head of the tech department of the Black Spitfires. Nole aka Tech was nothing more than a researcher in the Sunset Berets in the 1940s where he was finding ways to extend ones life through artificial means. Due to his extensive research and a lot of trial and errors, he became the first person to showcase the benefits of a new surgery called "Cyberline". Allowing one's brain to be transplanted to an artificial body if their organic one is failing or is too long gone. He did the surgery to himself to prove how good it was and showcased it to the press who were dumbfounded at what they were seeing. After his success with that, he became part of a research team that develop what would become the later enhancements that the Sunset Berets now give to their members. It was also around this time that a number of his team began dabbling in bio engineering with the hopes of creating artificial beings. However, due to a mix up with a number of the heads of the Sunset Berets, getting found out for shady dealings with their connections going directly at him and his research team, they all decided to split and change their identities after finding out what was going on. Tech went into vintage computer repair after that and was finding ways of improving those outdated tech for his own use. He eventually caught the eye of SnowFlake whom, after seeing the impressive work he's done, offered him a spot in the Black Spitfires. He gladly accepted it knowing of SnowFlake's background. He's been assigned to Sleyne's batch and is in charge of replacing all their current tech with greatly updated versions of once obsolete tech,systems and formats. With the reason being so that nobody can hack into their systems and are foolproof.

Gear/Abilities:

Generic - A term SnowFlake used to describe Jamie's "ability". Due to his absentminded demeanor, innocent and rather baseline personality, he can never be suspected of doing anything wrong whatsoever regardless of the situation, with the added bonus of talking the ear off someone if ever going into a conversation. This was found out one day when Sleyne, Bleyde and Reyge were out on a quest together and hid themseles discretely further down the path where Jamie was at the time. The pursuers questioned and threatened Jamie when they caught up to him if he saw any person here who matched their descriptions. But he just casually chatted with them and talked their ears out to the point that they ended up getting distracted that they ended up forgetting what they were doing there in the first place and left. Sleyne, Reyge and Bleyde couldn't believe what they saw and ultimately notified SnowFlake at what they just witnessed, prompting him to get taken into the team after accepting SnowFlakes terms. This ability of his to be just really innocent makes him a really good distraction tactic when out and about in missions, having to just grab the attention of any hostile and just chat them out while the other members go and do their assigned thing for that mission. In a way as well, the Black Spitfires were able to get intel for certain things thanks to him.

Brief Bio: Born in Magic Waters City and originally living in the East District, Jamie was a mime actor before he got picked up by SnowFlake. He'd be seen performing out and about in public for fun and would get paid by random strangers for the laughs and giggles he'd give them. Usually be seen strutting like a 1930's cartoon character in the streets of the East District dressed in his mime garb. He'd do this for several years and enjoy it a lot, till he encountered one particularly nasty kid out in the streets one day and called him a "useless piece of shit" which ruined him. While the kid was punished in a later incident, he subsequently stopped miming after that incident and had lived out as a pretty generic citizen pondering on what to do next till one late night at Magic Waters Park. He was clearing his mind out till a bunch of people ran passed him and noticed they hid discretely beyond where he sat. He was then approached by a bunch of shady looking people and just acted naturally, to the point that he just casually chatted with them and them basically forgetting what they were doing there in the first place. After saying his goodbyes to them, he was subsequently approached by SnowFlake from the shadows and was offered a spot in the BlackSpitfires, commenting on how well he handled those people. Jamie was a little dumbfounded at what was happening, but SnowFlake reassured him that there's no danger here and explained who he and the Black Spitfires were. Upon realizing who he was talking to and thinking over the terms, Jamie accepted the offer from that point and was assigned to Sleyne's batch. Where he was personally thanked by Sleyne, Bleyde and Reyge for saving their butts at the time. Despite him having stopped his miming gig, he still does his little miming japes with the other members from time to time, to the silly delight of everyone.

Cyberline Body v3.0 - A body surgery he underwent after he got caught in a brutal racing accident when he was 23. He lost his lower half completely whilst also succumbing to eye damage and broken arms. With this surgery, he was given a new lease in life with an artificial body made of a material that was the predecessor of Carbonium. This surgery is the latest and most recent in body aiding tech, where it enables one to feel alive again and go eat, bathe and do whatever they please as if they're in their original body. This sturdy body has a matte like finish in the areas of exposed "skin" (based off the user) that looks almost exactly like natural skin. The body itself is mostly artificial with the brain of the person being transplanted into it. With this artificial body, their brain's systems and connections are connected to each and every sensor of the artificial body making it a one to one fit with the person's brain. With this, the brain is also registered to the body itself so things like brain swapping can never happen. Due to it being artificial, customizations can be made so that the person is free to do whatever changes they want with it to make themselves look different or as exact as they were in their original body. Renzy opted for a more android looking look with his, having a few robotic like visuals on his look like his eyes, face and wrists whilst keeping how his hair was back in his original body. This 3.0 version was further refined thanks to the efforts of Starlight and Tech refining and upgrading his initial body to what's seen now using Carbonium.

Turbo Augmented Legs MK-IV - Modded legs made by Tech. Due to his love and thirst for speed, these legs were specifically designed for him so that he can run as fast as any of the fastest racecars on the planet. Built using the same materials that went into his Cyberline Body, these legs are strength tested to handle speeds of over 500mph with the added bonus of allowing him to jump really high and land safely from it. These MK-IV variants are further refined and upgraded variants of the legs thanks to Starlight and Tech. Streamlining the design more for smoother airflow and utilizing Carbonium to further lighten and strengthen it as well as incorporating the self cleaning system that Sara has for her boots in her Crimson Augmented Armor.

Brief Bio: Once a racecar driver in the 70s, he was known to a lot of people at the time as "Zoomy", due to his incredible speed and rather risky yet precise tactics when racing. Where he'll quickly zoom pass opponents with quick and precise maneuvers in the most dangerous of times. He was slated to become the next world champion of the time till he got caught in a massive pileup in the 1977 season of the H.A.S.L. (Hyper Angelusse Speed League), where his body got catapulted from his car and was sent flying and tumbling on the pavement at over 200mph. He miraculously survived the gruesome accident but 90% of his body was wrecked because of it. After being hospitalized for 3 years after that incident, he was approached by a person named Nolan who offered him an experimental treatment named "Cyberline" to fix his wrecked self. After some talks, he agreed to it and proceeded to undergo the surgery. 2 years later, he was now back on his feet thanks to the Surgery and went on to go back into motorsport. But he changed his mind upon hearing that racing officials had temporarily halted all major racing events for restructuring after his incident. Nothing else to do, he started taking advantage of his new body by being a parcel transporter where he'd deliver parcels via running as fast he can and taking unconventional routes while doing so. He garnered quite a successful streak with this and got himself some upgraded legs from it. Eventually he caught the attention of SnowFlake, where he was approached by him one late night and he offered him a spot in the BlackSpitfires. Where he accepted it and was assigned to Sleyne's batch being an alternate driving instructor for the Spitfires. Due to this too, he was reacquainted with his old friend Nolan having to catch up with him after soo many years.

Crimson Brawlmers - A set of weighted clothing she wears on her arms and legs. They resemble something akin to arm and leg warmers but have a built in heavy stainless steel carbonium coated anklets and bracelets for each arm and leg. She uses these to train herself so that when it gets removed, she can punch and kick very fast. To her, wearing these just feels natural and doesn't feel like anything, though if someone else were to wear them, they'd be having a hard time moving their arms and legs.

Brief Bio: A girl who mysteriously was accepted by SnowFlake one day and was assigned to Sleyne's batch. All that's known about her, at least what she's comfortable telling, is that she used to live with her brother in Queeneria Isle, a massive island continent on the south east of Magic Waters. She and her brother used to get along up until he decided to prioritize his friends and girlfriend over her. She didn't mind it at first, till it reached a breaking point where her brother didn't keep a promise he made to her and with that got fed up with him and left. She became a back alley street fighter after that, having won a lot of fights she got into to earn a living. After that she'd rather keep things secret, as she feels rather embarrassed at the things she did after that point causing her to grumpily blush and leave when people keep asking her about it. She's still currently in the process of opening herself up to the new people that she now calls her family. As to her, this team feels more homey to her compared to her previous life with her brother. With people playfully poking fun at her and her rather "edgy" nature, with the biggest offender to this being Oli whom she's quite fond of and would sometimes give him a friendly noogie whenever she sees him, to which he finds mildly painful. Or tease him of his dislike of sexy people as he thinks of them as evil.

Vague - An in between life state that's known to the scientists of Angelusse that has a very very rare chance of happening to Angelussians (The collective name of both Ereans and Humans). Vague is an in between state of living where one's physical body is gone and all that's left is a ghost like physical form of their appearance when they lived. Meaning that if one had injuries before becoming Vague, those injuries would be present in their form but won't feel anything to the person and are just visual. It's been described by the rare few who have went into this form as feeling "normal and alive" but just having a ghostly like appearance and glow. By feeling normal and alive, they mean that they can touch, feel and do everything a normal person could, but they're permanently stuck having this ghostly like form. Vague is something people commonly confuse for ghosts, as unlike ghosts who don't wanna leave due to being attached to a certain object, having not accomplished their goal, can phase through objects/structures and can float. Vagues are neither one of these and are pretty much just another life state. They're still normal beings who are most often times confused as to why they aren't dead and are in this state. It is unknown that if killing one's self in this state would grant them a permanent death, as records of people being in this life state who are willing to do it for research are very rare. Due to this too, it's unknown how long a person can last whilst being in this state.

Brief Bio: One of the many students murdered in Angels Guidance Private School back in the 90s due to one of the teachers going berserk. When she was alive, she lived a pretty normal life up until she turned 18, where she and her mother started having disagreements about her being free to do what she wants. On the day of her murder, she was hanging out by herself on the upper balconies of the school. Where the teacher who snapped grappled her from behind and began stabbing her till people outside heard her screams and came to help but ultimately failed. She bled to death after trying to walk herself out of the school looking for an escape and 2 years later she woke up from the spot she died in as if she was dreaming the entire time. She found herself in the remnants of the school, where she was confused as to what had happened and freaked out after glancing at her now ghostly like state. She tried exciting the abandoned school, but a sort of energy kept her from leaving. She tried communicating with the random people who explored the place over the years but ultimately lead to no where. That is until she met Aili, who curiously wandered in, whom at first got scared of her up until she opened up about who she is. After hearing her story, she tried helping her out and succeeded after she held hands with her and walked out of the front entrance together. She thanked Aili for the help but realized that she had nowhere else to go to anymore considering the times. After some thinking, she brought her to SnowFlake and explained the whole situation to him. After which she was accepted into the BlackSpitfires and now lives alongside the members. She currently is in the process of familiarizing herself with the modern world she now lives in.

So, here we are, batch number 4.The second most important batch to me aside from Batch 3 (and the one character from Batch 2 named Elisa), mainly due to the characters seen above. For those who have stuck around with me since the beginning of my DeviantArt journey, you may know a lot of the faces you see here. For those who haven't watched me for long, let me give you some context. Almost all the characters seen above are of the first characters I've ever created (along side a few in Batch 3 and one in Batch 2). Started as being Sonic styled characters who were nothing but edits on Windows XP's MS Paint and eventually becoming something of their own, morphing in designs and looks along side my art style. With some of them going through numerous upon numerous name changes and even a crappy (at least to me now) story line which was overly convoluted and had no direct ending. My have times have changed.

Since my goal from the start of this whole Redraw 'n' Update thing was to redesign, update, and finalize these characters, I made it as a design standpoint that the characters would at least be a fusion of their past and more recent designs as much as possible. As to me, it's important to reference their origins.

Rings of the Slain - Rings that are locked on his wrists. These rings were specially made for him to conceal his true erean form and the powers that come with it. Although not 100% effective, as minute traces of his true form can be seen when in combat alongside his eyes. The rings were originally a decorative piece in his earlier life when his father was still alive, however they were destroyed in combat when he tried stopping his unruly and power hungry father. Thus a new pair of them was remade with cavernosphere metals and the ashes of the people he has slain in his earlier life as a reminder of his past. The true erean form that's hidden away by these rings is said to be something that at one point in Planet Angelusse' s history, would have destroyed cities or continents if he never turned against his father and use his skills for good. They also double as melee weapons in combat via as " wrist hammers " able to crush a person's skull with ease. These rings, despite their appearance and the ease of movement Sleyne has with them on, are extremely heavy. They're heavy to the point that when unlocked from Sleyne's wrists, they leave an indent and a crack or two on the floor they land on.

Brief Bio: Once part of an ancient race of ereans who ruled the cavernosphere region of planet Angelusse, Sleyne was the son of a warlord whose one goal was to rule everything on the planet with an iron fist. Under his dad's leadership, he was known to be quite a "demon" of sorts, as he ripped and teared adversaries he faced in the wars his father went into with other clans. Leading him to be nicknamed as "Demonic Saber" at how scarily fast he would be slicing through armies upon armies of people with ease. Although his dad had conquered the whole of the cavernoshphere, he wanted more. Seeking out the groundosphere as his next target for his bloodlust rampage. Sleyne saw this as unnecessary, as to him taking over the above world would be overdoing it. This comment sparked a conflict with the two of them, where Sleyne defeated his dad and his army in a blood bath later on after his father killed a village leader making peace with his dad on the groundosphere. From then on he swore to not follow the path his dad took and take the route of a wandering bounty hunter, to correct the evils he committed thanks to his dad. For years he had met many faces through his vigilante jobs and for years he had met and lost so many friends through his life, though Sleyne wasn't going to be a wandering helper of sorts any longer now. Come 2013 he met SnowFlake in a request job given to him by a client. SnowFlake offered Sleyne a place in the Black Spitfires, after seeing him in action and seeing where he comes from in terms of history. Sleyne accepted it (accompanied by Reyge and Bleyde) and from then on has become one of the most well known members from the team.

Gear/Abilities:

Tails of Fury - A sword forged by a blacksmith for her when she was young as a token of happiness and as a last hurrah to himself. The sword is made of materials only found on the inner caves of the floating land mass, the Uplift Islands. Shaped like a fox tail and finished in a gun metal gray color, it's light and is tailored to the fighting style of Bleyde. There's a small visible indent near the handle of the sword where molten materials can be poured in later to further strengthen and improve the sword. As the materials will permeate through the blade and fuse with the initial material it was made of. The specific name of the said materials this sword was made of was never identified as the swordsmith had died 2 years after Bleyde was given to the sword by them at the age of 15.

Brief Bio: Often labeled as a stalker, even though she clarifies she isn't one, she's a following shadow that has been following Sleyne and Reyge ever since she first saw them in her hometown in Windy Cliff Pass in 2013. Originally a shy person, she always was a misfit since she was young as she never really found a group to fit in with. Having her be left behind by the groups of people she tried to mingle with. When she saw Sleyne for the first time, she was in awe at him as he gave off the aura of a badass. Come years later when he revisited the area, now with Reyge accompanying him, she watched from a far at what the two would do and would occasionally follow them around even when they were doing a client job. It just so happened that one day they were being stalked by a person bound to kill them, as revenge for the death for one of their targeted people. She snuck up upon the guy and killed him off before Sleyne and Reyge took notice. They both heard the thud of a body behind them and saw Bleyde, and were immediately on edge at what was going on. When they figured out what just happened they thanked her. She asked if she could join them and Sleyne just said "Do what you want.". She joined them and just like that became a close trio of friends ever since. When Sleyne was taken in by SnowFlake in the same year, she followed suit along with Reyge. And then Christy and Christal who became part of their batch later on. She has an unusual knack of teasing the two twins which often ends up in her getting into trouble. Aside from this, she has become close with most of the people in the Black Spitfires due to her laid-back attitude towards things and her undying love of video games.

Gear/Abilities:

Mecha Mag Arm Version 4.0 - An arm he had as a youngster. It was originally a replacement arm since he lost his left arm in an accident when he was 12, it's been constantly upgraded over the years to improve it's performance and longevity. Eventually he had to add offensive upgrades to it along with a plethora of other options to help him in combat situations due to a disagreement in his younger life. This current version labeled "Mag 4.0" is an upgraded version of his arm modified and tweaked by Christy. This version uses Titaniumond Fiber Nano Tech, an extremely light and tough experimental material which can last a lifetime without it ever corroding or wearing down over time and as an added bonus no oil is needed. The material is also able to morph into different tools/weapons through Reyge's thoughts. Examples of this would be the 98SW Cannon, which fires devastating single shot plasma rounds, and the Trihook which he can use to grapple on to hard to reach places or high-speed objects.

Brief Bio: Born in Lavalanche Plateau, Reyge was an ore miner who craved adventure. As a youngster he was normally seen exploring the mines with his father and would go look in the deep crevices of the mines in this dried up lava mountainous area. This however ended up in him losing his left arm at the age of 12, where an unstable patch of rock in the caves collapsed on him (breaking his arm in the process) and his father. His dad ultimately never made it out alive but Reyge did due to the quick thinking of his dad. Reyge was hospitalized after and he was given a mechanical arm to replace the arm he lost. He stayed strong after that event but he ultimately caved in. After being bullied by the other kids because of his arm and how, in their eyes, it was his fault that his father died, he got into a fight with them which ended up in a couple of them getting hospitalized when the bullies didn't realize how capable he was in fighting. Especially with his mechanical arm. He ran away afterwards and ended up being a lone traveler taking up freelance vigilante jobs to earn a living and upgrade his arm while at it. He eventually met up with Sleyne through a job where they both teamed up to guard some special cargo. After the job they hanged out for a bit and something clicked between the both of them, Reyge has now found a group of people (Black Spitfires) he know he could trust in and in return helps them out in need. As well as finding love in the form of Elisa. Though there are times where he would get a little triggered due to people making puns out of his name.

Gear/Abilities:

Frostbitten Wind - The name of the ice powers she was born with. The powers themselves originate from the Erean blood that flows in their family (Vultics Canidras) and are only inherited by a handful of people in her family. It grants the user to freeze the air around them and is able to produce continous streams of incredibly dense blue ice. The ice produced by this power is said to last for a long while even in hot climates, and is only removed by the user who casts it. Unlike the gadget Christy developed, which can fire projectiles of ice, this power allows the user to summon spires of ice from the ground with ease along with ice "tentacles" that home on their targets. And like Jeyde, she can materialize weapons/objects from the ice and use it when in or out of combat. Examples of this is a lance, a cage, and a great hammer.

Brief Bio: Originating from Frozen Dream Peaks, she's the oldest of the Frostbite twins and was the daughter of a wealthy family. She was the twin that most people would take to due to her appearance and the fact she was born with ice powers, often times the center of attention in most social gatherings and in the school they attended in. This was usually the case ever since they were young and started uttering out words. She's usually seen with a group of people admiring and crushing on her due to the charm she had with people. Though this charm she had would eventually be trumped over by her twin's smarts and creativity and would spark constant comparisons between them. This would eventually cause them to bicker at each other, which at one point ended up in them getting exiled from their family after she and her sister destroyed a party their parents hosted. She and her sister were eventually rescued by Sev, Cookie and Jayde after driving back from a motorsport event they attended near by and were taken back to the base where they both stayed and never left, mainly because of Sleyne and Reyge. Having been a fan of them after reading blogs of them online about who they were. Truth be told, she felt really down about herself in her first few days in the team since she didn't feel unique within this group of people. But she quickly shrugged this feeling off and started mingling with the people and ended up befriending everyone in the team. She feels closest to Rina, who like her, is also a twin. And finds Bleyde the more annoying one out of the bunch due to her constant teasing of her girliness.

HB Starlight Custom - A modified hoverboard with custom parts fabricated by Christy herself which she nicknames "Starlight". Unlike most of the off the shelf brands of hoverboard, hers is finely tuned to fit her style of riding so that it's stable and can be used in unison with her partial ice abilities. It comes with a custom paint job, an engine retuned so that it produces less heat and more thrust(so that the any ice path she produces out of her FrostBite Glove doesn't melt beneath her as she rides it) , sturdier experimental Carbon Exo Diofiber frame able to withstand most abuse and crashes at over 200MPH and for when she needs to bash some peoples faces in with the board and a white LED package for the exterior of the board when at night.

FrostBite Glove - A glove she developed when she was young to amplify her partial ice powers. She wears it on her right hand and it's normally used to generate an ice path for herself and others when going through areas that can't be easily accessed or if she needs to create a faster route for herself. It's also able to fire ice spheres, ice darts and ice wind up to a range similar to that of a sniper rifle. The ice spheres fired by the glove are in the size of a softball and can leave a deep dent onto metal. The ice darts can pierce metals and flesh with ease and have an added bonus of exploding outwards once they pierce. The ice wind produces an instant thick sheet of ice depending on where it's aimed at. It can be used to generate not only roads or platforms but also walls to shield herself.

Brief Bio: Originating from Frozen Dream Peaks, she's the youngest of the Frostbite twins and was the daughter of a wealthy family. She was born with partial ice powers and a knack of tinkering and making gadgets. This was made apparent when she developed the Frostbite glove, when she was 10, and her modified board, when she was 15. She always was a second placer to her sister, as she would often be ignored by other kids when they were young. Though when people found out how intelligent she was compared to her sister, their outlook on her changed. This would often times end up with people comparing them both to each other and it would get them to bicker at one another. The bickering would get so bad that eventually their parents were forced to exile them from their mansion and disown them after an incident had happened in a party their parents hosted. She and her sister were eventually found by Sev, Cookie and Jayde passed out in the snow as they were driving back from a motorsport event near by. She woke up finding out she was inside a car with them and slightly panicked but soon calmed down after findng out they were saved by them. They drove back to the base and she and her sister stayed there until they could find a new place to stay in but they never left. They were accepted in by SnowFlake and they were both assigned to Sleyne's batch, in which her twin went ecstatic over because of Sleyne and Reyge. She's now second in command of the tech department, who manages and upgrades the systems in the Black Spitfires along with helping Nole out making updated versions of old obsolete tech for their own use. And yes, she and her sister has since apologized to each other but the bickering still happens every now and then.

AG-nesis - An ability known to the Hedgevers class of Needebacks. Essentially a form of telekinesis, it allows the users to manipulate and throw objects, people and things around them with the force of their mind, float and fly in the air or even electrocute everyone around them by slamming the floor. When a Hedgevers uses this ability, a red aura appears around the user and their eyes begin to glow red. This ability can vary in potency, ranging from very weak (only able to lift small objects like pencils, paper clips or coins) to extreme (able to lift massive structures like quarry dump truck or a 5 floor building) with accompanying degrees of length as to how long they can use it. This ability is commonly used by this class of Needlebacks as a means of transport in their native high above ground homes, a means transporting goods around or in building homes and structures in their area. For Siggie's case, she's in the more extreme case of things where she's able to move and carry massive objects with ease. However, prolong use of her abilities will tire her out requiring her to intake (according to her) a lot of sweet things to regain her energy back.

Brief Bio: A wanderer of sorts who once lived on the Uplift Islands. She used to be in a relationship with a girl who lived in an area near Forest of the Giants on Uplift Islands. Used to, because overtime this girl would turn more and more deranged, so much so that she referred to her as a "Caveman Viscacha". She eventually ran away grabbing her more important belongings with her and just wandered around hoping to find a place to fit in. She'd help out random people wherever she went which in turn they'd give her food and a place to stay for the night. One day when she was about to leave from a place she slept for the night, she heard noises of a high speed car chase going at a nearby highway and went to investigate. As she arrived at her vantage point, she saw a sleek sports car driving at high-speeds trying to outrun the police chasing it. Quickly going into action, she used her powers to quickly beam herself over the highway and land just far enough ahead of the perpetrator. After which she proceeded to use her abilities on the car and raised it into the air, stopping the vehicle immediately. The police arrived shortly after and she placed the car back down gently, with the driver frantically stumbling out of the car out of fear. She was thanked by the police and she proceeded on her wandering journey. Just as when she was about to leave the city she was currently in, she was approached by Sleyne, Sev, Cookie and Christy. After some praise on her showmanship of skills back there, she was offered a spot in Black Spitfires, with them explaining further as to who they are and what they do. She at first felt like it was a joke but she changed her mind after when she realized how dead serious they were. She gladly accepted it and, after some confirmation with SnowFlake, was grouped into Sleyne's batch.

Cyberline Body Beta ver 2.0- The beta version of the Cyberline bodies. This beta version of the body looks more robotic in nature having a massive CRT like monitor for the head to house the brain inside as well as the rather bare-bones looking body parts. However despite the appearance, it functions the same as any of the finalized bodies used for the masses. This version 2.0 of the body was strengthen and upgraded with Carbonium, with its appearance replicating a cartoon character Tech drew when he was a kid thanks to the help of SnowFlake.

Brief Bio: The pioneer behind the Cyberline Surgery and the head of the tech department of the Black Spitfires. Nole aka Tech was nothing more than a researcher in the Sunset Berets in the 1940s where he was finding ways to extend ones life through artificial means. Due to his extensive research and a lot of trial and errors, he became the first person to showcase the benefits of a new surgery called "Cyberline". Allowing one's brain to be transplanted to an artificial body if their organic one is failing or is too long gone. He did the surgery to himself to prove how good it was and showcased it to the press who were dumbfounded at what they were seeing. After his success with that, he became part of a research team that develop what would become the later enhancements that the Sunset Berets now give to their members. It was also around this time that a number of his team began dabbling in bio engineering with the hopes of creating artificial beings. However, due to a mix up with a number of the heads of the Sunset Berets, getting found out for shady dealings with their connections going directly at him and his research team, they all decided to split and change their identities after finding out what was going on. Tech went into vintage computer repair after that and was finding ways of improving those outdated tech for his own use. He eventually caught the eye of SnowFlake whom, after seeing the impressive work he's done, offered him a spot in the Black Spitfires. He gladly accepted it knowing of SnowFlake's background. He's been assigned to Sleyne's batch and is in charge of replacing all their current tech with greatly updated versions of once obsolete tech,systems and formats. With the reason being so that nobody can hack into their systems and are foolproof.

Generic - A term SnowFlake used to describe Jamie's "ability". Due to his absentminded demeanor, innocent and rather baseline personality, he can never be suspected of doing anything wrong whatsoever regardless of the situation, with the added bonus of talking the ear off someone if ever going into a conversation. This was found out one day when Sleyne, Bleyde and Reyge were out on a quest together and hid themseles discretely further down the path where Jamie was at the time. The pursuers questioned and threatened Jamie when they caught up to him if he saw any person here who matched their descriptions. But he just casually chatted with them and talked their ears out to the point that they ended up getting distracted that they ended up forgetting what they were doing there in the first place and left. Sleyne, Reyge and Bleyde couldn't believe what they saw and ultimately notified SnowFlake at what they just witnessed, prompting him to get taken into the team after accepting SnowFlakes terms. This ability of his to be just really innocent makes him a really good distraction tactic when out and about in missions, having to just grab the attention of any hostile and just chat them out while the other members go and do their assigned thing for that mission. In a way as well, the Black Spitfires were able to get intel for certain things thanks to him.

Brief Bio: Born in Magic Waters City and originally living in the East District, Jamie was a mime actor before he got picked up by SnowFlake. He'd be seen performing out and about in public for fun and would get paid by random strangers for the laughs and giggles he'd give them. Usually be seen strutting like a 1930's cartoon character in the streets of the East District dressed in his mime garb. He'd do this for several years and enjoy it a lot, till he encountered one particularly nasty kid out in the streets one day and called him a "useless piece of shit" which ruined him. While the kid was punished in a later incident, he subsequently stopped miming after that incident and had lived out as a pretty generic citizen pondering on what to do next till one late night at Magic Waters Park. He was clearing his mind out till a bunch of people ran passed him and noticed they hid discretely beyond where he sat. He was then approached by a bunch of shady looking people and just acted naturally, to the point that he just casually chatted with them and them basically forgetting what they were doing there in the first place. After saying his goodbyes to them, he was subsequently approached by SnowFlake from the shadows and was offered a spot in the BlackSpitfires, commenting on how well he handled those people. Jamie was a little dumbfounded at what was happening, but SnowFlake reassured him that there's no danger here and explained who he and the Black Spitfires were. Upon realizing who he was talking to and thinking over the terms, Jamie accepted the offer from that point and was assigned to Sleyne's batch. Where he was personally thanked by Sleyne, Bleyde and Reyge for saving their butts at the time. Despite him having stopped his miming gig, he still does his little miming japes with the other members from time to time, to the silly delight of everyone.

Cyberline Body v3.0 - A body surgery he underwent after he got caught in a brutal racing accident when he was 23. He lost his lower half completely whilst also succumbing to eye damage and broken arms. With this surgery, he was given a new lease in life with an artificial body made of a material that was the predecessor of Carbonium. This surgery is the latest and most recent in body aiding tech, where it enables one to feel alive again and go eat, bathe and do whatever they please as if they're in their original body. This sturdy body has a matte like finish in the areas of exposed "skin" (based off the user) that looks almost exactly like natural skin. The body itself is mostly artificial with the brain of the person being transplanted into it. With this artificial body, their brain's systems and connections are connected to each and every sensor of the artificial body making it a one to one fit with the person's brain. With this, the brain is also registered to the body itself so things like brain swapping can never happen. Due to it being artificial, customizations can be made so that the person is free to do whatever changes they want with it to make themselves look different or as exact as they were in their original body. Renzy opted for a more android looking look with his, having a few robotic like visuals on his look like his eyes, face and wrists whilst keeping how his hair was back in his original body. This 3.0 version was further refined thanks to the efforts of Starlight and Tech refining and upgrading his initial body to what's seen now using Carbonium.

Turbo Augmented Legs MK-IV - Modded legs made by Tech. Due to his love and thirst for speed, these legs were specifically designed for him so that he can run as fast as any of the fastest racecars on the planet. Built using the same materials that went into his Cyberline Body, these legs are strength tested to handle speeds of over 500mph with the added bonus of allowing him to jump really high and land safely from it. These MK-IV variants are further refined and upgraded variants of the legs thanks to Starlight and Tech. Streamlining the design more for smoother airflow and utilizing Carbonium to further lighten and strengthen it as well as incorporating the self cleaning system that Sara has for her boots in her Crimson Augmented Armor.

Brief Bio: Once a racecar driver in the 70s, he was known to a lot of people at the time as "Zoomy", due to his incredible speed and rather risky yet precise tactics when racing. Where he'll quickly zoom pass opponents with quick and precise maneuvers in the most dangerous of times. He was slated to become the next world champion of the time till he got caught in a massive pileup in the 1977 season of the H.A.S.L. (Hyper Angelusse Speed League), where his body got catapulted from his car and was sent flying and tumbling on the pavement at over 200mph. He miraculously survived the gruesome accident but 90% of his body was wrecked because of it. After being hospitalized for 3 years after that incident, he was approached by a person named Nolan who offered him an experimental treatment named "Cyberline" to fix his wrecked self. After some talks, he agreed to it and proceeded to undergo the surgery. 2 years later, he was now back on his feet thanks to the Surgery and went on to go back into motorsport. But he changed his mind upon hearing that racing officials had temporarily halted all major racing events for restructuring after his incident. Nothing else to do, he started taking advantage of his new body by being a parcel transporter where he'd deliver parcels via running as fast he can and taking unconventional routes while doing so. He garnered quite a successful streak with this and got himself some upgraded legs from it. Eventually he caught the attention of SnowFlake, where he was approached by him one late night and he offered him a spot in the BlackSpitfires. Where he accepted it and was assigned to Sleyne's batch being an alternate driving instructor for the Spitfires. Due to this too, he was reacquainted with his old friend Nolan having to catch up with him after soo many years.

Crimson Brawlmers - A set of weighted clothing she wears on her arms and legs. They resemble something akin to arm and leg warmers but have a built in heavy stainless steel carbonium coated anklets and bracelets for each arm and leg. She uses these to train herself so that when it gets removed, she can punch and kick very fast. To her, wearing these just feels natural and doesn't feel like anything, though if someone else were to wear them, they'd be having a hard time moving their arms and legs.

Brief Bio: A girl who mysteriously was accepted by SnowFlake one day and was assigned to Sleyne's batch. All that's known about her, at least what she's comfortable telling, is that she used to live with her brother in Queeneria Isle, a massive island continent on the south east of Magic Waters. She and her brother used to get along up until he decided to prioritize his friends and girlfriend over her. She didn't mind it at first, till it reached a breaking point where her brother didn't keep a promise he made to her and with that got fed up with him and left. She became a back alley street fighter after that, having won a lot of fights she got into to earn a living. After that she'd rather keep things secret, as she feels rather embarrassed at the things she did after that point causing her to grumpily blush and leave when people keep asking her about it. She's still currently in the process of opening herself up to the new people that she now calls her family. As to her, this team feels more homey to her compared to her previous life with her brother. With people playfully poking fun at her and her rather "edgy" nature, with the biggest offender to this being Oli whom she's quite fond of and would sometimes give him a friendly noogie whenever she sees him, to which he finds mildly painful. Or tease him of his dislike of sexy people as he thinks of them as evil.

Vague - An in between life state that's known to the scientists of Angelusse that has a very very rare chance of happening to Angelussians (The collective name of both Ereans and Humans). Vague is an in between state of living where one's physical body is gone and all that's left is a ghost like physical form of their appearance when they lived. Meaning that if one had injuries before becoming Vague, those injuries would be present in their form but won't feel anything to the person and are just visual. It's been described by the rare few who have went into this form as feeling "normal and alive" but just having a ghostly like appearance and glow. By feeling normal and alive, they mean that they can touch, feel and do everything a normal person could, but they're permanently stuck having this ghostly like form. Vague is something people commonly confuse for ghosts, as unlike ghosts who don't wanna leave due to being attached to a certain object, having not accomplished their goal, can phase through objects/structures and can float. Vagues are neither one of these and are pretty much just another life state. They're still normal beings who are most often times confused as to why they aren't dead and are in this state. It is unknown that if killing one's self in this state would grant them a permanent death, as records of people being in this life state who are willing to do it for research are very rare. Due to this too, it's unknown how long a person can last whilst being in this state.

Brief Bio: One of the many students murdered in Angels Guidance Private School back in the 90s due to one of the teachers going berserk. When she was alive, she lived a pretty normal life up until she turned 18, where she and her mother started having disagreements about her being free to do what she wants. On the day of her murder, she was hanging out by herself on the upper balconies of the school. Where the teacher who snapped grappled her from behind and began stabbing her till people outside heard her screams and came to help but ultimately failed. She bled to death after trying to walk herself out of the school looking for an escape and 2 years later she woke up from the spot she died in as if she was dreaming the entire time. She found herself in the remnants of the school, where she was confused as to what had happened and freaked out after glancing at her now ghostly like state. She tried exciting the abandoned school, but a sort of energy kept her from leaving. She tried communicating with the random people who explored the place over the years but ultimately lead to no where. That is until she met Aili, who curiously wandered in, whom at first got scared of her up until she opened up about who she is. After hearing her story, she tried helping her out and succeeded after she held hands with her and walked out of the front entrance together. She thanked Aili for the help but realized that she had nowhere else to go to anymore considering the times. After some thinking, she brought her to SnowFlake and explained the whole situation to him. After which she was accepted into the BlackSpitfires and now lives alongside the members. She currently is in the process of familiarizing herself with the modern world she now lives in.
