Description
Welcome to my Art Contest!Today, I decided I wanted to do a contest to see just how my character looks in many styles!
So I thought what A good way than a contest! With cash prizes!?
So read below for more info!
Crossed Posted!
FurAffinity - www.furaffinity.net/view/27405…
ToyHouse - toyhou.se/~bulletins/54402.art…
________________________________________________________________
The Character:
Today the character being drawn is the very same on in this banner!
toyhou.se/663677.deimon - DEIMON
Most of his info is on the page, but here are some extra deets!
Dei will wear nearly anything so long as it isn't too girly. He's pretty much Genderfluid or androgynous in his clothing choice. Normally settling for casual clothing. (Any outfit, but doesn't actually draw the one on his ref unless its a One Piece themed piece! - sta.sh/2y6ieuhpxop?edit=1 - Some examples of clothing choices!)
Dei can also change his body, such as species or some traits! His hair, skin, eyes, height, and body type always stays the same though! (So maybe you can have fun with that!)
Here is also a neat little chart of some important things about Dei! - sta.sh/0iyzr3m5gmw
If you want to do some dark/sad themed pieces, try adding toyhou.se/986295.d-lagar - Dúlagar to the mix!

CONTEST WINNERSBefore I announce the winners here, I'll explain some things and how the judging was done.
Sadly I didn't want to keep the contestants waiting. So I roughed it out with just myself and another judge to go about judging the pieces. Each piece, of course, judged fairly on how well aspects of the piece was done.

Now for judging!
The Pieces are scored with categories.
Creativity: This is how creative is your piece is! What did you do to make the piece stand out?
Likeliness: How likely is it for the character to be doing what’s in the piece?
Accuracy: How accurate was the character in question drawn? Did you get all the major details?
Each subject will have a max of 5 points you can get for each subject. Meaning 15 points per judge. With two judges, that makes a grand total of 30 points you can get all together.
Check the link to fully the judging and the scores! (With the art piece of course!)

20 entries kind of seems like a lot to make a minimum when there was no minimum or chance of extension stated at the start of this. It just kinda seems a little unfair to the people who went out of their way to get their entries in on time. I could understand if you only had 2 entries but you have enough entries to give out prizes, it feels kinda like just asking for 17 pieces of free art.

GrumpyMoss In reply to Agent-Cheshire [2018-07-10 23:00:55 +0000 UTC]
Ahh you do make a fair point, it's actually funny cause before I saw this comment, I was thinking to myself that 20 was too much and dropping it to 10. Ahhhh
Glad someone else pointed it out.
Cause it was either fewer entries and extend with a minimum of 10 entries
or raise up the prizes with an extension. (most likely 2 weeks instead of a month)
If I didn't get many entries, the plan was to divide out the prize money between those who had entered, that way it wasn't in vain. (since it was only 4 entries before I actually got two more today/ Which changed the game plan since its now 6 instead of 4)
Ahh i'm sorry, I'm still figuring it out, I apologized for this.

0rganic-Trash [2018-07-05 18:39:54 +0000 UTC]
Quick question just to make sure I'm understanding haha- since he's a shapeshifter we can draw him as any animal right? Does that include myth creatures like dragons?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
GrumpyMoss In reply to 0rganic-Trash [2018-07-05 19:07:34 +0000 UTC]
While this is true, he normally keeps a more human/neko kinda like appearance!
It can range, but always human faced.
So that means doesn't go full feral.
Otherwise, yup, any animal/Animal Traits!
He's also already a dragon! <3

I'm thinking of joining if I will manage, but I have to ask; is there a possibility of cancelling the contest, if there's not enough entries?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
GrumpyMoss In reply to Wiki234 [2018-06-29 09:12:37 +0000 UTC]
I will simply extend the contest to another month!
But if not enough by the end of the extended month, then I'll figure out a way to reward every one who entered non the less.

Ahhhh Sadly paypal is the only way I can reward others.
Though if those who don't pay paypal, I can do the rewards in DA points then!
