And to think she was supposed to be an architect! Well, that's what her parents had originally thought, but oh no! Sandskrit is not one to deny the call of the desert sands and ancient ruins! Taking after her mentor and good friend Dr. Bronze Age, Sandskrit ventures far and wide in search of dead languages whether written in stone, on paper, or even carved into the landscapes themselves. A linguist by talent, an archaeologist by trade, and a writer by hobby she has all the tools of her trade ready and rarin to go! While very outgoing and extroverted, she still often finds herself alone somewhere remote piling over notes and comprehensive studies trying to figure out if what she is looking at is a verb, or just another picture of a stork.

Another of her hobbies is actually giving guided tours through ancient places like the ruins in Saddle Arabian deserts or the numerous ancient Equestrian castles and palaces. These places have of course already been sanctioned for public viewing, and she finds great joy in answering questions so she can share a little of the knowledge she takes so much pride in to her fellow ponies. Her linguistic studies do fall to the wayside when she takes up this practice, but she always finds time to sit down with a good book and have fun translating it into Ancient Equestrian, especially the first dynasty dialect! That one is her favorite!

Her most recent project is second age Gryphon, a project that has pushed her to the edge of her talents. Who knew that their language had nearly a hundred letters in the alphabet alone back then?! Hoping to take a trip the Gryphon country to better immerse herself in the culture she has focused her time on, she has since taken up a home in Fillydelphia as an assistant teacher to make up any funds still required. Her students love her the most though, she always takes them outside and its like one long recess! She probably won't be getting that bonus, but Sandskrit is more than happy to take the smiles of the fillies and colts over a few extra bits. Maybe she can teach a few some old Equestrian words... just to confuse the principle!
