...when I watched Toy story as a child I always felt bad for my hedgehog plushie collection 'caus I stored them on a high shelf and never played with them, but I did talk to them sometimes so that they wouldn't feel left out...

Yea, first I meant to do only finger puppets. Then I missed making shoes. And Boosh characters have pretty cool shoes. I couldn't resist
Plushie hedgehogs are harmless. Broken plushie hearts are bad, I know, but imagine if these toys came alive and started to rape other toys and urinate all over their little faces. I always hide their legs in a box separated from their bodies...
