Description This is the fallen star Yvaine from the awesome book Stardust by Neil Gaiman.

"Her hair was so fair it was almost white, her dress was of blue silk which shimmered in the candlelight"

This is the morning after the very first time we meat her, chained to Tristan, the protaganist, whit a thin but unbreakable silver chain around her wrist and whit a broken leg, sitting under a sycamore tree.

I changed the background a little and i redid the shine effect a little more controlled and i im much more satisfied whit this.

I used a photo ref for the pose and another for the face

Done in OpenCanvas and some tweaking in Photoshop

Really pretty interpretation of her. It's pretty spot-on, well at least what I have in my head. I enjoyed that book much more than the movie.

Thank you
I too must say the movie didn't live up to the world i had created in my mind.

Most movies never can live up to my imagination. Lord of the Rings was amazing, but I watched the movies first and then read the books... So that might be why I enjoyed the movies so much.

Wonderful pose, the background is plain but it suits the piece. Very well done!
