Well I have to say that Vos is actually looking really good for a fact that usually I have to fight to get Corvas look like the way I want. >__> Not good with long beaks

Yeah, long beaks are hard in perspective. I have to draw them a lot for Umbagog though, so it's not as challenging as maybe once it wouldve been. But I visually like long beaks a lot. Hence why I wanted Corvas for my fox stryx project. I'll mix in tytos for variety (and as a cheaper option), but the corvas have that long muzzled fox look down.

Ye I saw you draw them just fine in Umbagog, but then again usually the struggle won't show in the end when the picture is completed anyway, so even if we are having sweaty time getting the anatomy right that will not show in the end .... most likely. Most of the time xD
AND that confirms my theory of why you are going to use corvas in your fox project. They indeed do look alot like foxes with long beaks and with ear like horns. Excuse me for asking but who are you going to use as Vos's mate for the project? It sounds like you do have really clear planing for this one hence my interest. >8)

I've got Heikki and Nevermore lined up to make a mate for them, and I'm gonna use Düm and Sundown to toss out an alt line (with its own mate). I'm also gonna put some money/time aside to get a good corva custom when they're open. The whole project is basically about producing a kind of specific 4+ mark line of birds. A friend of mine is lining up mates to do a horse line. I figure people are gonna want to start looking for something specific once they're tired of just collecting a species, a base, and a shiny. I'm trying to lock down canines, personally.

I LOVE how you did his whole face, that strong jaw, the feather ruffs at his nape, the EARS (omg this is my fav part, I actually planned to draw him with semi-dog-wolf-alike horned-ear tufts coz of his name, and you got this part spot on!), that beautiful, beautiful lighting that literally composes the whole picture's atmosphere, and you really brought out that deep golden-orange of his beak and the black stripes, and his white facial markings ;U; like omg, this is perfection, right there.
I cannot believe Racchrakki has the honour of having his first ever picture to be drawn by you, Gry, seriously. I cannot thank you enough

How do you do this awesome texture effect that all your works look like made on paper? Are you putting some texture on the picture to make it look like this at the end or? Or you just drawing with that watercolor-like brushes?
