Well damn.Vincent x Kiuru stuff all the way and I am not sorry that it is also first drawing of the 2017
They both reached Arisen way too fast. It is about 11 months from now when I drew them together first time as small sweet buns, and now look at them. They are all seasoned and matured adults with lots of history behind them. Some things have changed alot YET some things never change. I wanted to portray that.
There is actually story for all of these pictures.
1. Vincent hates fish. Kiuru knows this, and finds it necessary to make fun of this. Maybe as revenge after Vincent made fun of her distress?
2. When they were small, Vincent was better at hunting but then suddenly kiuru started to get scary good at killing big things and this is eating Vincents self confidence while he is kiurus biggest fan.
3. In fights Kiuru is not simply taking Vincents shit silently anymore, which does not really make him stay put either. His ego is bigger than his body.
4. Kiuru has grown to know that Vincent understand practical jokes..... hopefully. 
5. Kiuru could win Vincent in fights like these. we all know this.
6. Vincent seldom hides how irresponsible he can be. This time small Nakal ended up almost drowning because of this.
7. Asa attacked Noren . This was already unfortunate event in itself, but then Kiuru wanted to help her grandson and ended up falling from cliff with him and Vincent as taxman was on a hunt for someones life for that.
8. Vincent still wonders if Kiuru knows that brightest star in his life lays right next to him. Tho he has nothing against stars on the sky either.

I am finally done with fiance's lit and finally have the time to sit down and properly comment on this; this pic has been sitting in my inbox from the day I saw it and gosh do I have much to say
The feels though. You've crushed my heart and brought it back to life and crushed it again.
I love how there's:
- first panel on the left, it is Kiuru's fear we see when she was a pup, and now it is Vincent's fear we see (fish) as adults. And their contrast in behavior is lovely, with Kiuru's show of fear being flailing, while Vince's is pretending he isn't afraid but is shaking all over; perhaps he doesn't want to show himself as weak in front her her? xD
- 2nd panel on the right, when they were young it requires teamwork for them to bring a prey down; but as they are now older, though it appears they still perhaps hunt in pairs, but from Vince's expression we can grasp that perhaps Kiuru was the one who pretty much single-handedly brought down the prey, and a big and strong one at that. The look on Vince's expression is perfect x'D It speaks "shocked-into-silence-from-being-impressed", while Kiuru treats it as though it's not a big deal, and we see her still daintily cleaning the blood from her paws, ever the lady<3
- 3rd panel and it seems some things remain the same still<3 Couples always do quarrel, and while they were young, Vince uses his height to his advantage, but as adults, it is Kiuru who has the height advantage, and is no longer the pushover. It is the fact that they do still fight despite how close they are, that really makes you feel that these characters are alive. Kids fight, but so do adults; yet you see the difference in maturity. Adult-Kiuru does not look like she wishes to fight, but it is Vince who confronts her and makes it inevitable. Makes me wonder what it is that they might have quarreled over?
- 4th panel, it seems Vince may not be as fond of water as he is when he was young x'D perhaps the incident with the fish has left him a little wary? Though that might have to do with Kiuru blinding Vince with the lily-pad x'D I love how Kiuru has a sense of humor<3
- 5hth panel; I really would have thought Vince would have out-grown this by now x'DDDD But ahhh it's great to know that he's still the same Vince from all those years back. Kiuru's "you little shit" face is also so precious LOL Maybe one day Kiuru would be able to finally, finally top Vince in his own game huh
- 6th panel: this is probably one of my favorite panels. Though it is the same on first glance, but then take a little closer look and you realize that Kiuru's anger is for entirely different reasons. The kukuri pup on the floor is a amazing touch, and just the addition of it changes the whole 'story'. Bad papa, not watching the kids. Mama isn't happy. Isn't happy at all.
- 7th panel: This one crushed my heart ;___; The look in Kiuru's eyes is haunting for me, as is the fear in Noren's. The same panel from when they're young, has a touch of 'children's possessive-anger' to the fight, but this version is a whole lot darker and serious. And I absolutely love that. It's again, one of my fav panels from your piece. It reminds me of those scenes in anime-movies where something tragic is going on, but a soft-sad song plays in the background, where you can still hear the sounds of fighting. Ahhh my heart.
- 8th panel: both the adult and younger version of this panel brings a lot of feels for me. It's amazing how both times it is Vince who is looking at Kiuru, while Kiuru is the one looking at the sky. They often say that in a relationship, one is the 'giver' and one is the 'taker'. But I personally think that it is a lot more complex than that. Both are givers and takers, but in different aspects and things. I'd imagine it being as hard to define as asking "who loves the other partner more?". On the surface, it would appear that Vince is the 'taker' and Kiuru is the 'giver', what of Vince seemingly being the more 'dominant' one in the relationship, and how Kiuru seems to give in to Vince more when they do clash. But then when you really look at it, I would imagine it is Vince who might actually 'need' Kiuru a little more. If ever we follow the story of the two till the end of their time, if one were to pass before the other, I'd imagine Vince would take Kiuru's passing harder, than Kiuru would his. I'm sorry I'll shut up now and go grab some tissues; I'm having a lot of feels for these two ok??? T___T dont judge me ah
I just... I love this picture. I love how you specifically made it so that it is a parallel to the first, younger version, but then on deeper inspection, you realize that some bits changed, and some didn't. Which is a good reflection of how characters develop. When people speak of character development, it is important that they 'change' over time, as in real life, people do change over time. But yet in the midst of storytelling, sometimes people go overboard with the 'development', and forget that there are some things that wouldn't change, of a character's essence. And in this, I think you have captured it very very well. Kiuru and Vince are still the same two pups we have grown with and loved, and as adults now, though they have changed a little, they are still the same two characters we have grown with and loved. That, for me, is good storytelling.
