Was messing around with some kind of custom brush that I think I downloaded a long time ago and forgot about... and trying to practice drawing Grievyface. As for the totally random red tailed hawk, I can only offer my train of thought: Mmkay, I am drawing his hand going up, that's fine I guess... looks like he should be holding something, in that pose. A lightsaber? How expected. Okay, a hawk!
...I don't know how I can say I'm practicing drawing him with a straight face when I'm not even using any reference pictures. xD *headdesk*
will move to scraps later maybe, if I can ever get my gallery to look a little less dead

That's gotta be one of the most mild-mannered females I've ever seen. She doesn't even react when he presses on her tongue, not a bite. You'd think they would bite you to try and get away...
Not to mention, she easily allowed him to make a feather cannon out of her (lol at tail feathers sticking out)

Neat video, yeah I was thinking the same thing while watching that guy conduct his business on her. o_o Heck, like 10 years ago I caught a little sparrow and held it in my hands and it was scratching and pecking at me until I let it go.

Turns out red tailed hawks don't attempt to bite you at all. Once you catch them and have their feet, all they'll do is sit there with their mouth open and wings spread, if they are pasture-age (just left the nest) so they won't know how to interact with humans. They'll be too scared to want to do anything to you.

Either that guy knows how to handle the birds properly enough to the point where he's just that good, or that bird was a one-of-a-kind...
He just easily slides her in the can, leaving a feathery butt out to make a partial cannon.

Haha, random indeed, but I like it! Also, loving the brush you used for color. It's so... squareular. <3 Fitting. This has a very painted look to it that I really like.
