This is for due to a random bet that I lost at bronycon last year. Donald duck is to blame. I think. I forget exactly.So... for some amazing reason, this picture inspired literature and music! Check it out! This fandom astounds me endlessly.

Like anyone can get an effective example of top load washing machine anymore -- all they sell is the low water use HE front load washers that mostly beat your clothes as opposed to cleaning them. (Well drawn tho)

They still make them - just not like that anymore - the agitator is about 1/2' in height at most and throws an off balance alarm every other load. Ah the good old days, we wasted water and watched the machine walk across the room, but we never had to reset it 5 times to do one wash XD.

AND it took 20 minutes to wash a load (well) instead of the current hour. Thing is while I can appreciate conserving water in drought zones, I have a well and there is far more than ample water here thank you and I am not pleased with having it dictated to me that I have to use a washing machine that doesn't wash clothes all that well, and use a showerhead where it just barely makes me wet. I long for the days when it blasted a tremendous stream of water at you at a velocity where you could get a massage out of it and untie the knots. I long for the days where at full blast you could drain the water heater of hot water.

Oh I hear yah, luckily I'm two miles down hill from the city water tower, each shower is more like pressure washing a deck - it's fantastic lol. Also 95gal gas burner for heater never gets cold - luckily Cleveland hasn't put any restrictions on our water usage here.
