I love this picture, and I've used it as my background for weeks now, but the one thing that's always looked off to me is the position of Luna's horn. If you follow its lines down through her mane, it looks as if her horn would be placed directly on top of her head. It would be completely vertical if she lifted her chin up. :/

My best advice is to find artwork you like, and emulate it. For example, when drawing the eyes and doing the shading in this pic I looked at miltvain.deviantart.com/art/Twβ¦ as a guide and tried to be more like it, because I found it so beautiful.Β
