I'd say its like super saiyans grade 2 & 3 it makes him bigger and more powerful but the appearance remains very similar. As for the new golden form. 1. this is "Beyond Gold" it cannot be attained before 5th form so 1st-4th forms cannot access it. the differences are clearly a power increase and a new Maroon red color to the gold and purple. Beyond Gold is also basically The Cold Giant's Super Saiyan 2
