this is a photo i'm proud of, but it will only make sense to dutch people, since its dutch politics related. hence an explanation.
the new government in holland has planned to reduce the money thats usually given to people that are not able to work anymore, they're also planning to test those people, so that no money is given to people that actually are able to work.

Jan Marijnissen (standing in front of the man with the sp-cap on), the leader of the political party SP, (social party) is talking to a disabled, or relative of a disabled person, about their disagreement of the new governments plans.

I did not focus all the attention on the important person, (Jan Marijnissen is a very well known person in Holland, since his party gained a lot of votes lately) instead i found the old man in front of me much more interesting. I'm not going to give my political opinion here, but i think the mans expression is a dissapointed one, a feeling passed frustration. it reflects the general feeling of the demonstration.

De demonstratie ging over het bezuinigen op de WAO en het herkeuren van de arbeidsongeschikten. We weten allemaal wel wie Jantje is, de man op de voorgrond reflecteerde de gevoelens beter dan de conversatie die Marijnissen had.
