Description
"It would be better for "myself" to die.
After all, it's nothing to be afraid of...
That child... that demon...
When I think of the endless pain it will bring when it is birthed...
I decided that, instead of the suffering and cruelty I endured in that sick room...
That I would like to bestow a more gentle and peaceful death on "myself".
Why do "I" resist? I never thought of "myself" as such a fool..."Β
Series: Silent hill 3
Character: Memory of Alessa
Cosplayer: me

Rusty bathroom background by cbidgie
First picture of my Memory of Alessa cosplay.
I made the whole costume with real blood, coffee, tea, latex, everything that can stain and stay dirty.Β Hopefully I will be able to take more pictures, as I want to add more details, fix the wig and also make a skit.
Until then, enjoy

Thats some truly badass cosplay. The stained vest is perfect. Good luck with finding a skirt. Though draw it in was a good idea of solving this little problem. I mean those rough lines add a lot to the atmosphere. Did you use the real blood also for the face? I know good recipe for the blood for the skin. This is the thing I would focus on next time - you know - "face effects" - i mean more blood. I see you are not afraid to make your face dirty :333 (which is sometimes a problem of many MoA cosplayers). If you wanna make it really detailistic - i mean also with "true" scars and stuff - can give you some tips if you want :3
Now the only thing you need is some Heather cosplayer Β

It's weird, the timing of all this. I was just reading up on the Silent Hill series and playing my games again for the Halloween season. XD You look fantastic!

This is brilliant! Β Fantastic job!
I'm curious though, using real blood for your costume, do you think it'll happen to smell bad after a while?

Uhm, well...sure steak blood smells bad. However, I did a couple of things that should do. First, I put a layer of latex and glue over it so it works as some sort of seal.
Also, I "wash" it once in a while. By wash it I mean just put some of water and rub, that is all.
So far it smells more like a coffee shop, but nothing bad I guess.
