Completed piece: fav.me/d7bodb7This is something and I did over spring break. I provided the basic sketch, and she did the shading and coloring and really made it shine! I'd like to say that I feel honored that I got to work with such a talented artist. Thank you Sadie, I adore your art, I adore you, and I really hope we get to work together again!

Hi! I quite like the characters, but I'm new to their sketching so could you explain to a noob why there are strokes from the forehead to her lips? What support lines are these? I don't get it :S

When I draw heads I start with a basic oval like shape, then carve out the profile. The underlying lines are from the initial oval shape, then I added the features over it. ^^
