Soooo here is another A song of ice and fire fanart pic: Rhaego: the stallion that mounts the world, son of Daenerys Targaryen and Khal DrogoOr what I think he would look like if he was alive, and based on the dreams/visions Dany has.
Genetically I disagree with GRR Martin, as black wins over blond and Dany has not a drop of black hair genes, Rhaego should be black haired. But well I guess one can argue that it's fantasy and that Valyrian genes win over Dothraki genes.
Oh and the hand sucks. :/

The eyes are a little bit to different than the rest of the painting. It throws the texture off a bit. And I always pictured his hair braided lol. Great job with the anatomy, though the shoulder's seem a tad broad.

As far as genetics go, hair color (at least from what I can remember) is not dominant or recessive like some other genes, and it is determined by several genes that work together. So, (if I understand correctly that one of his parents in blond(e) and the other black-haired) it is theoretically possible for him to have blond hair. Maybe not likely, but possible.
As for the art, it's beautiful. I love the background.

You're really good at hair - do you use a tutorial for it? Good job on the muscles and such.
I think the eyes might be a little too bright - they stand out kind of wrong...but I have not read this book, so maybe that was intentional.

I meant more the white highlight comes across as a bit too bright in relation to the rest of the pic, because nothing else is as bright as that highlight. Maybe dimming it a bit by using a light version of the eye color?

yeah, the genetics just doesnt work when it comes to stuff like that but oh well, it makes for a really kickass character - i like his noble face and the glint in his eyes
