Description I... I don't wanna. I don't wanna fight you! Why are you so insistent on me attacking you or running away? It is bad enough I got a flower spouting that it's kill or be killed down here, I don't need you of all people to reinforce it!

I find it funny that a LOT of people kill Toriel their first time. It is sorta understandable since you've been taught that talking to monsters will get them to calm down and thus become able to be spared. But it doesn't work on the one who taught you to do so. And she DEMANDS you to either fight or run away. It's like she gave up on the idea that the monsters deserve mercy. She even acts so cold to the other monsters in the RUINS to the point that they fear her. However, by being persistent on giving her mercy, you can show her another way. Also, she severely underestimate how important her life is. If you do go through with killing her, then Undyne takes the throne, and she's worse than Asgore when it comes to the plan that Toriel wanted to stop... the destruction of humanity. A lot of people forget that little issue, and even draw comics where Frisk willingly gives their SOUL to Asgore.... or go back to the Underground after Undyne is the crowned leader. While freedom of Monsterkind is good... I won't think that Frisk would willingly want humanity to be destroyed. They are determined to go home for some reason, and that could be because they realized they left people behind they want to get back to. If they truly didn't at least have friends, then, that's it, Frisk can stay with Toriel. Got a new mom... Wait... Why not have the ability to recruit Goat Mom? You NEED her to stop Asgore peacefully. Maybe... because Frisk's memories gets erased of this method so they can't do it... You can't be determined if you know that you can't do this journey on your own.

Now, onto the model! I actually have a few work in progress pictures for this one: sta.sh/22brlv79ar5y I don't know why I don't for the others. Oh well. You can also see prototypes of other characters and a look at a future upload. Need to do base for alternate outfits later.

Made in Blender.

Heh, yup... they're a sweet family unit! Even if Frederick was adopted, they never treated him as anything less than a funny little otter... anyway, what are otters but waterproof ferrets?

GuardianMobius In reply to DCLeadboot [2017-04-06 03:01:25 +0000 UTC]

: That is pretty true. Both Otters and Ferrets are part of the Mustelidae family of mammals.
Speaking of adoption, I have adopted Frisk this time around and in both this and the second timelines, I got to meet the families of Frisk's human friends. They are wonderful people.
: Although... on the day of the adoption, I met with the rudest caretaker. She thought that I was a human wearing a costume before getting a good look at me and recognized that I was one of the monsters who recently were free from the Underground. Then, she laughed in my face when I told her that I was there to adopt Frisk.
: She was like "Do you even know how to care for a human child?" When I said that I cared for every child who fell into the Underground, she said, "Oh? You mean the SOULs that was used to break the Barrier? Frisk's only alive because you had seven SOULs already before they fell."

Some people sure don't understand about anthro-like beings, do they. Danbuster's kind have to keep a low profile if they have to visit human-inhabited areas, just like regular animals.
But they knew about the Souls...?

: I would imagine that it would be difficult for Danbuster himself since he is rather tall for a hare and has hair on the top of his he-
: ...
: You're right... I did not question at the time, but how did she know about the SOULs? I did not mention it to the others since I assumed that she just put the pieces together and did not want to dredge up that wound...
: And despite some back and forth, she did let me adopt Frisk despite my "track record," as she puts it.
: Plus, when Frisk took me to the hole they fell into, there wasn't a fence or any other safe guards... Strange...

Hmmm, maybe there were rumours... I don't know how long monsters were sealed away, but I wonder how many people would ever remember them... or how the barrier might be broken...
Yeah, with a dangerous mountain, you'd think there'd be some guardrails or something... it's a public beauty-spot, isnt' it? Not some evil factory-headquarters like Eggmanland, which suffers from No OSHA Compliance...

GuardianMobius In reply to DCLeadboot [2017-04-06 22:59:31 +0000 UTC]

: Maybe... We were sealed for a long time... ever since the medieval era... but for how long it was, after Chara fell at 201X, there were seven others within the hundred years the humans were honoring the "Merciful Monster." Are they connected?
Frisk in particular said that they felt lured to the hole in Mt. Ebott which would land them on Chara's grave. This could be due to Chara since they shared the same SOUL, but every child fell into the same hole. Did the other humans notice at all?

Hmmm, strange that nobody seemed to notice that, yeah...
Legends abounded that "few ventured there and none returned" and yet they didn't seem to do much to prevent those few from that dreaded venture...

I did notice that he was wearing his armor, but I figured that he was just regal stroll like he used to do when he was Underground. He did say that he was going to bed before that, but he have been having trouble sleeping lately. I do hope he's alright.

DCLeadboot In reply to GuardianMobius [2017-04-10 08:39:52 +0000 UTC]

Hmm yes... I wonder why...
Though it occurs to me, was it some sort of sacrifice to make amends for what they did to Asriel, perhaps? They took him from you, so they let some of their children go the way of the dodo in order that their Souls might eventually allow you monsters to dispel the barrier?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

GuardianMobius In reply to DCLeadboot [2017-04-10 09:12:12 +0000 UTC]

: That does seem to be part of it.
: Oh... I have not considered that they would not have other means to shatter the Barrier on their end because they cannot use magic, so they provided the SOULs to us so we can use our magic.
: I cannot help but to think if these children used to have families who missed them. Or at least friends.

:Why did you have Asgore wear his armor?
: You as well as I noticed that Asgore have not been sleeping well and have been sleep walking. Each time, you all have stopped him from leaving the house because he was in his sleepwear. I wanted to see where he was going, so all I did was make him seem more awake then he actually was to get to the bottom of it. And it lead to where he harvested the SOULs for the Barrier.

: Now now. If it was another SOUL but a cyan, who has the patience to reach an understanding of the situation at hand and cannot get hurt by standing there, I would have woke him up. I am not heartless. Well, not anymore. Plus, we can always reload if that was an issue.
: Besides, if I was not there and Asgore gotten past you, then it would be your fault someone died.

: !
: That's... that's horrifying. Humans can do these thing in their sleep? At least, we know now that monsters can have this issue too.
: Monsters... are not well versed on disorders, so we thought it was just strange. We had Asgore wear bells to ensure if he sleepwalk, we'll hear him and get him back to bed. Papyrus was the first one to notice his strange habit since well... he barely sleeps anyway. To think that stress was the cause of his strange behavior.
: Do not worry mother, we got to the bottom of it and hopefully he will be sleeping soundly.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

GuardianMobius In reply to DCLeadboot [2017-04-14 17:35:04 +0000 UTC]

: When Frisk finally confronted Sans about the SOUL that was given to Undyne in the First Timeline while Saving his memories, Sans had told Frisk that the human was "something pretending to be one," meaning that they were acting very strangely.
: On it's own, it was just a human acting weird, but after meeting me while having memories of the third timeline...
: It became clear that the human was possessed by something. Something that acted differently from me, but produced similar symptoms to when I was possessing Frisk in the Third Timeline.
: And through comparing the look of the human in the First Timeline with the humans in the Second Timeline, Sans positively identified the human was Alexa.
: ALL THE TIMELINES HAD A PURPOSE. THEY EXPOSED THAT THERE ARE MORE SOULLESS OTHER THAN ME AND FLOWEY AND WHO WAS POSSESSED.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DCLeadboot In reply to GuardianMobius [2017-04-14 18:08:52 +0000 UTC]

Hmmm... but was it Alexa who was murderous or just that inner-demon that was possessing her...?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

GuardianMobius In reply to DCLeadboot [2017-04-14 18:20:55 +0000 UTC]

: A little bit of both. From my experience with possession, I can say that I cannot force Frisk into performing acts of violence against their will, especially in the beginning. I would have to find something they are willing to Fight for and exploit it.
: (sigh) It is not confirmed because we had been avoiding Saving her memories of that timeline, but we came to the conclusion that Alexa thought that Frisk had died at Mt. Ebott, since Frisk never actually made it to the surface in the Neutral Runs.
