I love her sleeve tatt. I wish I could get one, but I'm afraid of looking too strange (being a mom and all).

for some reason, geishas work so well in your style! i think they are too unique to look so elegant in pure anime style
love her lips- so smackable! the tattoo colouring matches the picture and compliments it- as usual it looks gorgeous!
nice to think outside the box

The tattoo is beautiful. I have to ask though... would a real geisha get one? (unless she's a yakuza geisha, mebbe... just wondering.)

yeah that's why i called her an 'alternative' geisha...
her hair isn't in a 'proper' geisha style, either. and she's probably too young to even be a geisha, more like a maiko... but i just wanted to draw a sexy asian girl with tattoos and geisha-like hair.
i used artistic licence.

About vectorisation guava. Does vectorisation using a vector programme like freehand removes the pixels and make your lines visibly smooth. Also, are you able to convert the vector image back to .png or .jpeg and still retain the smoothness?

haha, good questions... i am not all that knowledgeable on vectors... but i have found better results by by bringing the vector into photoshop, but that's only because my tablet is a bit jerky and makes my lines wobbly.
once i've saved a vector as a .jpg in photoshop it still looks smooth, but if you try to enlarge it it will pixelate again, unlike if it was still a vector... i do know that photoshop CS2 allows you to bring vector images in and save them as 'smart objects' so you CAN resize them... but you can't edit the lines or anything unless you convert it... i'm not sure if i've answered your question or not
