=Nicc593 drew our latest id's.He got my expression just right, hahaha.
And the eyepatch isn't a gimmick... I actually had to wear one for medical reasons for a while last year, ahahaha :B
I'm such a sad case :B

[edit] =Nicc593 drew his original icon based on Commander Amarao [link] because he is obsessed with FLCL. He then drew me in a similar style, and added my necklace and eyepatch (that I wore in real life due to real medical complications... not just to be all cool and poser-ish... but it did help :B ).

I've actually been wanting to try a visual experiment for a while. Which is to wear an eye patch for a few weeks to a month, and see how it actually effects my day to day effectiveness.

hmm.. yes, as a designer i have often given a lot of thought to what bodypart/function i would fear losing the most... sight was pretty high up there. there really is no way to find relief when you are being wheeled into an operating theatre knowing people are going to be peeling back the layers of your eyeball. gyatch.
i always thought if i lost a hand i could paint with my mouth/toes and sell christmas cards.
or, get my cat to paint for me. she might have trouble with the wacom tablet though. i'll have to get her declawed. i hear it takes a long time to get replacement parts.
