Yeah but if you consider how unlikely it is for people to randomly come across your work.....I only did when I was starting here I think and then I was mainly asking for people to read my story thing/poetry stuff because they get looked at even less than pictures, but yeah ^_^;; I not done for a while except in my journal maybe kinda ..... I forget ^_^;; too busy going through watch list thing...

i give 25 for every 10 i get... i guess it helps if you draw art or write poetry that appeals to a broader range of people. i don't read poetry, myself, and i don't tend to go in those DA circles. a lot of anime artists just comment on other anime artists, kinda like many poets just comment on other poetry, and photographers keep to photography... sure, people break out, but as a general rule you comment on what you're interested in... and like i've always said, whilst it's nice that people comment back, if people aren't interested in a picture, you can't really expect them to comment just to be nice... otherwise it's kind of an 'empty' comment ^^ it doesn't really mean much. that's why i'd always rather have 5 sincere comments, than 50 "thats nice - visit my page" comments
it's not the quantity, its the quality ^^
