Description Took this at my March 15th Anonymous rally. It seems like everything I've been submitting lately is Anon-related.

Not really much to say about it.

I never would have known about Anonymous if it hadn't been for you, but I've studied up on it! Cool shot - kinda creepy (but I suppose that's the idea!)

I kind of get the impression from reading about it that they aren't too terribly serious about it all... I may be mistaken, but I sense a lot of sense of humour in all this.

See.. The problem I have with "Anon" is...

Well, The gunpowder plot was an actual political statement, and V For Vendetta(which those Guy Fawkes masks are from) was an actual work of art.. and both probably would hate to be tied to a bunch of /b/tards from god-damned 4chan and people who don't even realize it's largely /b/tards from god-damned 4chan.

Of course, the concept is still quite amazing and were it not championed by that low-brow classless people, I would probably participate in events(That is, if I were near where it took place. I could also do a mini, self protest I suppose.

Ah yes, but not ALL of us are /b/tards, or even go to 4chan for that matter. I for one hate 4chan, I USED to frequent it, but over time I have come to hate it. Now this isn't saying I hate /b/tards, just the place.

So far, the people I have had real conversations with, while at the protests, have been quite sophisticated ladies and gentlemen, and have nothing to do with 4chan. The masks are simply a measure of protection.

Now to GPop: The thing I love the most about this photo is that, out of everyone else, that guy is the only one wearing a lighter color, and that really draws the eye's attention.

Yeah, I've actually never been on 4chan. So.

Thanks. :]

Oh yes. THe picture is marvelous. Should've said that.

And yes, I suppose not all of them WOULD be, but still. While there are some who aren't, there are the ones who think "so i herd u liek mudkips" is a piece of fucking comedic genius

Oh I agree with you whole heartedly. It irritates me to no end when I see the ones with signs that say stuff like that. Basically any 4chan meme for that matter, because seriously, only /b/tards and other people privy to them are going to get them. I think over time, the ones who are just there "for teh lulz" will get tired of it and be filtered out, and then only left will be the ones who are actually serious about it. At least that's what I would like to see happen.

Indeed. I think I might be changing my mind. It seems a little more intelligent that I was thinking. Plus it's obviously trying to stop a blatantly lying group.

Well, I just wrote a reply, and hit send for the wrong text field, so I'll try and reconstruct what I said.

Indeed we are, hence why I gladly embrace the non-Anonymous protesters. Although I do wish they would cover their faces as well, simply for their own safety.

*IF* you decide to partake in any protest against the CoS, I highly advise that you cover your face in some way. Actually I would even do that if you were just there as a photographer, because you are still subject to "fair game".

Oh, I would wear a Guy Fawkes mask in the hopes to carry on his tradition, just like the other Anonymi, if I went to one.
