This is something I drew in one of my sketchbooks back in 2009. It's the oldest thing in there that I think still holds up. That's not to say I'm totally satisfied with it, but that's a natural reaction to your old work.

This is the first of a few pieces I made featuring this unnamed fairy character. She wears a Love Hina-inspired leaf bikini, because I figured that it fit well with the typical image of fairies (or pixies, or whatever you call them), and I just really wanted to draw one. It didn't turn out quite as well as I liked, so I tried to improve on it in later drawings.

It wasn't until I was about to scan this that I realized the sketchbook was slightly too big for my scanner, so it wasn't able to lie perfectly flat on the scanner, and the sides got cut off slightly.
