After a slow 2023, I wanted to get 2024 started off on the right foot, with a new comic early in the year.

I was putting some pressure on myself to start the year the right way and make sure the first of everything I did this year set a good precedent, but it's hard to start the year off with a bang when it starts in the middle of winter. Everyone's got the post-Christmas holiday hangover, and we've still got 2+ months of winter to go. Maybe if July was the first month of the year, it would be easier to hit the ground running.
