Description
This is a boxart I was commisioned by Hasbro back on 2005.It was used on the toy box for a short time: when Hasbro changed the packaging for this line, this artwork was replaced with a new one.
Shaded pencils on comic artboard, digital colours.

This was better than the other one they used because it shows the weapons he comes with, while the other alternator artwork doesn't even thou is also a nice piece. I still prefer this one over the latter.

It's from the red-boxed Prowl version, the one that apparently had the 'left mirror always breaks' defect.

Yeah. Apparently it breaks EVEN when it's kept on the box too depending on handling. Still, it's a very rare one, so definitely worth getting if you can find it.
If I didn't want my Prowl to not break, I'd totally go for anoter in the red box, but alas... bubble will have to do for me. XD

Then he'd probably go straight into a storage box until I have a place to display him. I've seen a few red box Prowls on ebay (have certainly been eying them), this is definitely incentive to buy one of those over the bubble package.
I already have one that's out of package (and modded), and was planning on getting the second to stay in car mode.
