Slave - Theme for Windows Seven - x86 and x64 - by Guillen Design.I feel very happy and honored to receive the DD.

How to install
1. Install Universal Theme Patcher, make sure that UAC must be turned off
2. Copy and paste content of the folder 'Visual Style > Slave' (*.theme & folder) into C:WindowsResourcesThemes
3. To change the system files: use the program 'Windows Themes Installer' by kishan-bagaria kishan-bagaria.deviantart.com/…
4. Restart Windows & then select this theme in Personalize Menu

This is one of the best themes out there. However, I have a problem - The window bars are not turning black as in the preview above. They are transparent. What should I do? Any help will be much appreciated.

Indeed, One very well made skin, full of harmony for a Dark Scheme, not an easy thing to find.
Looks like every windows 7 dark skin miss some aspects for a full comfortable usage.
I use two monitors one LCD and one full HD LED, so the difference REALLY have an impact on readability.

The installer does not work for me. When I click install after I did selected the correct files it tells me that "the files don't match so thay will not be replaced"

I love the Theme but i cant seem to get it to work, either the explorer frame wont work or i have an issue with the regular explorer and my task bar is missing all of the textures, another thing is the windows theme installer from Kishan-Bagaria has had a few updates as well, i know its probably to much to ask for but do you think you could do like a 4 to 5 minute video tutorial?

Do it manually, by Taking Ownership of the system-files, then renaming them and moving the Slave files into the locations. I had the same issue with that 'theme installer'. No amount of reboots helped.

Looks great, but unfortunately Microsoft has updated a few system files, like explorer.exe, so the theme installer complains and refuses to replace those files with the ones from your visual style.
Would you please help us get this sorted.

Yes, of course. However, that's not the issue here. Explorer.exe and two other files have been updated by Microsoft so they have a newer build number so they cannot be replaced.
What we need are new builds of those files for us to replace with and we really could use your help with that, please.

and my girlfriend uses 64bit
Yesterday we did all exchanges. dll
and we start from the basic
using the Universal Theme Patcher
and Take Ownership
and all went well without any problems.

My apologies. After a couple of more reboots the build number issue disappeared. I find this very strange, but at the same time I'm glad it worked.

First, if you had the solution for some details that bug me, I'd be glad!
Microsoft Word, it seems, has taken for default blank the base grey used in your theme, which i love, but it's disturbing when people designed a sheet for white paper and i see it grey / or to check before printing a doc... Any solution?
On the side, there are the white backgrounds of the windows 'calendar's clocks" (when you click on time, which i do often as i need a few clocks) which breaks the immersion and looks ugly, and a white border on the password box on the login screen I'd be glad to get rid of.
I ask because you're the most expert i can think of contacting right now, but please if this message feels heavy, just take the compliments and leave the rest.
Your work is subtle, elegant, humble and practical all at once, i love it and you well deserve your fame, thank you for sharing!

I've tried to solve the problem of 'Microsoft Word' not found the solution
it also occurs in some 'sites' on the Internet and
Microsoft products
repeated on the basis of a few pages

Just wondering if anyone can provide a safe link to the Universal Theme patcher? Every download place I find for it yells "DANGER!! VIRUS!!" no matter how I look at them.
