Slave - Theme for Windows Seven - x86 and x64 - by Guillen Design.I feel very happy and honored to receive the DD.
This honor and this recognition encourages me to produce even more.

How to install
1. Install Universal Theme Patcher, make sure that UAC must be turned off
2. Copy and paste content of the folder 'Visual Style > Slave' (*.theme & folder) into C:WindowsResourcesThemes
3. To change the system files: use the program 'Windows Themes Installer' by kishan-bagaria kishan-bagaria.deviantart.com/…
4. Restart Windows & then select this theme in Personalize Menu

I had no clue MS was planning to update W8. I guess this is our Service Pack? In any case, I thank you if you do make it for W8/Blue and if not, then I'll just keep using the theme on my W7 laptop.

this 'black' is the status bar
it will just go away if I change the color of the bar

I found it very confusing

i am trying to use theme installer but doesn't work,
a dialog appear with the message: Exception not controlled and a largest detailed log ..
and closes the program xD

try a skin from another author
a skin is not an executable file
remember to use the Universal Theme Patcher

I used the Windows 8 during one month
in my girlfriend's PC
I confess I did not like the system
the new OS from Microsoft is confused and lacking in detail
it was created for Tablets and Smartphones
but when it is used on a PC
is too bad to work and customize
I will continue using Windows 7 until Microsoft
create a better system than that
if it does not I'll migrate to Ubuntu.

I used my friend's new windows 8 pc, I thought it was oversized smartphone, it's very badly designed and seems to lack care. Mac still have their awesome looks, windows 7 compared to them but W. 8 is a failure. Awesome theme though, good work

Hi there,
I love the theme pack and I use it for a while now but there is something I actually can not live with. Maybe there is a fix you can recommend.
The thing is.....
The theme is changing the Explorer background to that grey, for example. That is very cool but now, the default background of the IE9 Browser is grey, too, which makes look some website very weird because they are build on top of the white and not the grey background. Also, Microsoft Word Pages are now grey on default, too. That is very, very bad because the setting for word documents is page color: none, which would be white but the new default, for almost all, seems now to be grey. That may work pretty in most cases but not for IE9 and not for Word.
Any solution?

Cool theme but didn't really work propely, still got same start menu button and some other buttons are same as always. May that be because I have "build 7601" ?
